Excellent club in same condition as discribed by golfbidder, delivered next day always a plus, club didn’t have a head cover and the one supplied was at best naff
In good condition with no markings on the head and shaft excellent. Some evidence of wear on the grip but happy overall with the club.
Having been custom fitted for one of these at the recent Scottish Golf Show I was keen to pick one up, but not pay the full £429 for a new one! Golfbidder had what i wanted in great condition and I'm not disappointed with it. I'm hitting it really nicely and it's vastly improved my consistency off the tee. Roll on the summer season! Great service from golfbidder too, delivery was nice and quick.
great club gave me a few more yards
First up: even second hand this is a ridiculously expensive driver. Let's get that out of the way first.
But, the confidence it gives is way up there. It sits nicely behind the ball (to my eye at least) and feels really well balanced when swinging. The sound is muted (which I prefer, rather than those that sound like you've got a dustbin lid on the end) and the feel is solid.
The key thing here though is the ability for it to help you on off-centre hits, which with my handicap there are a lot. Seriously, I've hit the ball, felt it clearly come off the toe or heel and it still finds the fairway, just with a slight loss of distance. Really, really impressed.
Should I have spent the money on lessons? Probably. But we all like a bit of bling in our bag don't we?!
Oh, and the Golfbidder ratings are absolutely spot on. The club head was rated an 8 and if anything I would say it was higher than that: I found the tiniest mark. You would easily have believed me if I'd told you it was brand new. Well done!
So in summary, if you're looking for a new driver and have the money, then I don't think you'd be disappointed.

This is the manufacturer's Recommend Retail Price (RRP).
With single clubs (driver, fairways, hybrids, etc.) it is easy to see the saving you're making. However things are a little more complicated if you're looking at a set of irons.
At model level (when browsing all the sets of a particular model) the RRP displayed is for an 8 iron set - usually 3-PW or 4-SW - with steel shafts.
At lot level (when you're looking at a unique set of irons) the RRP may have changed. This is so we can show you the relative RRP of that particular set. You could be looking at a set comprised of 5-PW (6 irons) so we have calculated and adjusted the RRP accordingly. We have also taken steel or graphite shafts in to consideration at this level. Graphite shafts are more expensive and you'll see this reflected in the RRP displayed.
The areas shaded blue indicate the range of abilities this model is designed for – from zero (i.e. expert golfers) through to 28 and above.
Beginners and high handicappers will generally be better off with models shaded blue on the right, better players will tend towards model shaded blue on the left.
Some models are suitable for a wide range of abilities and will be shaded accordingly.
