Model Year: 2017
RRP: £399.00
This is the manufacturer's Recommend Retail Price (RRP).
With single clubs (driver, fairways, hybrids, etc.) it is easy to see the saving you're making. However things are a little more complicated if you're looking at a set of irons.
At model level (when browsing all the sets of a particular model) the RRP displayed is for an 8 iron set - usually 3-PW or 4-SW - with steel shafts.
At lot level (when you're looking at a unique set of irons) the RRP may have changed. This is so we can show you the relative RRP of that particular set. You could be looking at a set comprised of 5-PW (6 irons) so we have calculated and adjusted the RRP accordingly. We have also taken steel or graphite shafts in to consideration at this level. Graphite shafts are more expensive and you'll see this reflected in the RRP displayed.
Handicap:
The areas shaded blue indicate the range of abilities this model is designed for – from zero (i.e. expert golfers) through to 28 and above.
Beginners and high handicappers will generally be better off with models shaded blue on the right, better players will tend towards model shaded blue on the left.
Some models are suitable for a wide range of abilities and will be shaded accordingly.

After not being happy with my Titleist D3 driver (multiple shafts: ALDILA Rogue Black in stiff, ALDILA Rogue Silver in stiff, Diamant Blue in x-stiff, but no good weight balance, hollow impact feel, and no idea "where the head is" in my swing) I have finally switched to the JPX 900 driver with the Speeder Evolution II 661 in x-stiff. How come? I was pretty much in love with my Mizuno JPX 900 3-Wood (same Speeder Evolution 661 in x-stiff; don't worry: many stiff shafts play more tout than this one in x-stiff), so I simply wanted to have that same feel, precision and control in my driver. The JPX 900 set to 8.5 degrees launches similar to the Titleist D3 head in 9,5 degrees. But the Mizuno definitely finds way more fairways and induces much more confidence and fun. Is it longer? Probably not (that is not my biggest problem...). So in the end it looks sporty and classy, inspires confidence and goes straighter. Anything more to want from a driver?

After a few seasons with a MP-630 FT I've bought the JPX-900... and surprise... it's longer and there's less penalty when you miss the sweetspot! Very happy with the club and with the service!
