Honma sent a shockwave in the industry when they launched their T-World range to the global market with the signing of Justin Rose, who won on the PGA Tour almost instantly. The new TR20 driver, which is already in the bag of the former World #1, is a sign that Honma has no intention of slowing down!
The new TR20 drivers are Honma's most technologically advanced product to date. They are designed for golfers seeking Tour-level performance with uncompromising Honma craftsmanship.
A TiCarbon Fast Frame unites an ultra-lightweight carbon crown, with a carbon sole, and highly optimized titanium frame. The face features a unique vertical groove which works to deliver more speed. The TR20 drivers are holistically engineered with Honma VIZARD shafts, designed to provide a better whole club in 50, 60 and 70-gram options to meet the distance needs of golfers with different swing speeds.
There are two models available in the TR20 drivers. The first is a 460cc, full-profile, driver which is deeper front-to-back with a sweeping crown for confidence and playability. The TR20 440 is a compact profile that sits higher in the back for a traditional appearance.
Both drivers feature three strategically-located (and adjustable) sole weights to provide flight and playability preference for increased MOI, reduced spin, or more draw bias. Honma's Non-Rotating Hosel allows the clubhead to be adjusted +/- 1.5-degrees in face angle, +/- 1-degree in loft, and +/- 1-degree in lie angle without changing the orientation of the perfectly-spined Honma VIZARD shaft.
"TR20 drivers are a feat of engineering craftsmanship from our incredibly talented teams in Sakata and Carlsbad. Combining innovative carbon construction with the legendary shaping of our takumis in Japan is something we're very excited for golfers to experience,"" said Honma President John Kawaja.
