New Scotty Cameron putter releases in early 2020

Scotty Cameron Special Select Putters

The launch of a new 'Select' Line from Scotty Cameron always surrounded with excitement - and this year the Special Select putters are not going to disappoint their legion of fans. After decades of designing, and building putters in his Californian studio the new Special Select line represents another step forward in creating the finest in milled steel putters. Each putter head designed and milled to the same exacting performance specifications demanded by the world's elite.

However, despite the classic looks, there is still plenty of technology and performance mechanic built-in. The incorporation of tungsten for the blades and stainless steel for the mid-mallets produces a larger sweet spot and enhanced stability in each model - all hidden behind the fully milled body. New performance balanced weighting tunes putter performance and feel at all lengths.

With over-arching attention on creating Tour-preferred sleeker profiles, each Special Select putter is milled from a block of solid 303 stainless steel for legendary aesthetic, performance and playability. Slightly thinner and flatter toplines help maintain tradition, yet notable refinements in face height, neck position, hosel depth, corner radius shaping, flange thickness and sole weight technology deliver better feel from the moment the putter is placed behind the ball to the moment of impact.

Eight new models blend Scotty's timeless design with modern craftsmanship for pure performance. Choose from five neck or shaft options for better alignment, visibility, and setup while optimal toe flow from each neck style delivers a premium feel though the stroke.

Scotty Cameron Phantom X 12.5 Putter

The Phantom X line from Scotty Cameron has received praise from Tour since its launch in 2019. However, like everything in life, you're not going to please everyone.

"Every time we introduce a new putter line, I receive requests from Tour players and dedicated golfers for additional setups and configurations. Phantom X 12.5 is the result of some of those requests." - Scotty Cameron

Following these requests from Tour players, a continuous central sightline milled from the leading edge to the back of the flange offers a new alignment feature.

The Phantom X 12.5 also features a stepless steel shaft with one shaft of offset and a single "low-bend". This design aims directly down the target line and promotes an arc path for more toe flow in the putting stroke - giving the golfer the feel of a blade through the stroke, but the forgiveness and stability of a mallet at impact.

The new design also allowed Scotty to create a new left-handed model so that all golfers can benefit.
