In all the pomp and ceremony around Sergio finally winning a Major, TaylorMade should be celebrating too as we make it the first win for TaylorMade since Mike Weir in 2003 at Augusta. Sergio bagged the M2 2017 Driver, M1 2017 fairway woods, P750 Tour irons, Milled grind wedges and a Spider Tour Red putter.
But Who Did What Best?
The longest driver in the field was Brooks Koepka, who averaged 302.5 yards with his 2016 TaylorMade M2 driver. Even with Augusta’s fairways cut from green to tee.
The straightest driver in the field was Soren Kjeldsen who hit 46 of 56 fairways over the four rounds with his TaylorMade M2 2017.
Paul Casey pipped both Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose to the GIR title, hitting 56 of Augusta's greens in the requisite number with his Mizuno MP-25 irons.
Right in the mix after three rounds it wasn't to be Rickie Fowler's Masters but with an average of 1.51 putts per green and just two 3-putts all week he was the best putter in the field with his Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Prototype.
Best from the sand this year was Louis Oosthuizen who got up and down a perfect four from four with his Ping Glide 2.0 wedge.
