Bryson DeChambeau has been playing with single length irons all his career and it has lead him from US Amateur Champion to the PGA Tour, so it makes sense that his club manufacturer to bring his thinking to market. Every club in the set is the same length as a standard 7-iron, meaning every swing with your irons, from ball position to posture is going to be the same, thus making the game much easier.
What becomes easier for you, is a nightmare for the engineers at Cobra who have to dramatically alter the weight of the individual club heads to cater for the longer and shorter shafts to keep distance gapping consistent with variable length clubs.
The club heads themselves are all very different, with four constructions making up the set. The 3, 4 and 5-irons have a hollow head with a low CG, making them super easy to hit. The 6 and 7-irons feature a filled cavity for added forgiveness which is open in the 8, 9-iron and pitching wedge. Finally, the wedges look like blades for precise short game control but still feature a tiny, closed cavity for forgiveness.
