Srixon Hybrids & Utility Irons
About Srixon Hybrids
The Srixon range of hybrids is a consistent and familiar-looking family which follows the lead taken by their drivers and fairway woods. All Srixon hybrids fall under their 'Z' range (as do their other clubs and headline golf ball, the Z-Star') and offer a real alternative to the perhaps obvious choices.
When browsing second-hand Srixon hybrids, like most brands now, they fall into two distinct categories. Traditional hybrids with a rounded profile and high MOI and launch, and a utility iron style for the better player delivering low spin and a penetrating flight.
The traditional 'Z H' range of hybrids features Srixon's most advanced design and technology with a larger, more forgiving profile to inspire confidence from the tee or the fairway. In the Z H85 a Crown Step increases forgiveness and lowers the CG to increase the launch angle and carry distance produced from the thickest or tightest of lies. The larger footprint further increases forgiveness to complete a real alternative to the longer irons for better distance gapping and consistency at the top of your bag.
The alternative to a traditional hybrid is a utility iron - like the Z U65. These Utility iron features a hollow body design offering more forgiveness and distance than a standard iron whilst maintaining the iron-like address profile preferred by better players. A forged head uses ultra-soft carbon steel for unmatched feel.
Srixon is at the forefront of golf performance and features in the bags of the best players in the world playing on the PGA Tour. Alongside the Srixon golf club range, their offering in the golf ball market is almost unmatched - with virtually every golfer having played a Srixon ball at some point. At the forefront of their offering is the Z Star models, which boasts 100s of wins across global tours.
