About TaylorMade Golf
TaylorMade is one of the leading manufacturers of golf clubs and other golf equipment in the world. Some of the best players in the world use their clubs and balls on both the PGA and European Tours - including current world number 1 Dustin Johnson (October 2020).
Historically TaylorMade was a metal wood company - focusing on being the number one driver brand, a title they held for over a decade. This dedication saw them be the first to market with driver technology now taken for granted - mainly moveable weight technology, first seen in the R7.
More recently, they have extended their focus into becoming number one in more categories. The explosion of the Spider putter family has seen them establish themselves as a real alternative to the traditional leading manufacturers of Odyssey and Scotty Cameron. The TP5 (the only 5-piece golf ball on the market) has seen their golf ball market share grow exponentially with players coming to the brand for the ball alone.
If you're looking for a brand that can kit you out for your entire golfing career, then TaylorMade is one of only a few which will be able to do so. Whether you're just starting and need some help from game-improvement clubs, or an elite amateur or professional wanting workability and precision, TaylorMade will have a club to fit.

TaylorMade Drivers
Current models: SIM, SIM Max, SIM Max-D
Available at retail: Now
The new (2020) SIM driver from TaylorMade represents another leap forward in golf club design and engineering. Previously, one of the optimal launch parameters - low spin, highly aerodynamic, low centre of gravity - had to be sacrificed. But, in the SIM family of drivers, a new asymmetric sole design allows all three to be closer to optimal levels than ever before.
There are three drivers in the family - SIM, SIM Max, and SIM Max D - so be sure to watch the video above and understand your options.

TaylorMade Irons
Current models: P790, P770, P7MC, P7MB, SIM Max, SIM Max OS
Available at retail: Now
The P700 Series of irons from TaylorMade is their premium line of better players irons - however, some models within the line have an element which will help the game improver.
The most popular in the line is the P790 - the second generation of this hollow iron launched for the 2020 season. Improved ball speed and more refined shaping improved on an already incredibly popular model.
The P770, P7MC and P7MB are for better players looking for precision and workability from their irons. Combinations of these irons will feature heavily in the bags of the TaylorMade playing staff.
If you're not quite ready for irons from the 'better player' category, TaylorMade has a SIM iron - including every game improvement and game enjoyment technology they could fit.

TaylorMade Putters
Current model: Spider X, Spider S, Spider FCG, Truss
Available at retail: Now
Before the Spider Tour putter came along, you might have questioned whether TaylorMade even make putters? It's amazing how one product can change a companies direction - but the Spider Tour (still used by Dustin Johnson, October 2020) did just that for TaylorMade. At the start maybe it's because it was red, but once golfers got it in play, it spread like wildfire!
The Spider X followed, refining MOI and alignment aids, at the same time putting TaylorMade at the putter market top table in less than three years!
