There is no denying the heritage and equity in the Lynx brand name. We all can picture Freddie Couples at Augusta with the big white Lynx visor on! And after a few years in the wilderness, Lynx is back, globally! Since it’s relaunch, Lynx is starting to find its feet and produce quality irons for all abilities and price ranges.
At the entry-level, they have the Prowler irons. Oversize heads, a deep cavity, and perimeter weighting all help the beginner get the ball up in the air and enjoy the game from the outset.
As you improve, you can move through the Lynx product offering. The Black Cat irons are still for the game improver but in a much sleeker profile. A thinner topline and narrower sole improve aesthetics and turf interaction, respectively.
Finally, at the elite level, they have the Prowler Forged irons. Forged from 1020 Carbon Steel the sole is narrow and topline thin both characteristics preferred by the better player. A series of five tungsten screws on the back edge lower the CG for better launch conditions without interfering with the sleek profile.
