Honma Golf did not take long to throw their hat in the ring as a serious golf club manufacturer when they launched in the UK signing a multi-year contract (at time of writing) with the current world number 1 - Justin Rose. Mr. Liu Jian Guo, Chairman of HONMA Golf, commented, “When we thought about the ideal golfer that aligns with our company values, everything pointed to Justin Rose”. He is using clubs from the TW747 range, including the TW747 460 driver, which he won with after only 3 weeks at the Farmers Insurance Open in January 2019.
Honma is one of the fastest growing brands in the top 10 golf manufacturers and according to some reports the number one premium manufacturer of golf equipment. Despite being relatively new on the scene in Europe, Honma has a huge following in the Asian market where it has held an established name and reputation for some years.
Honma is one of only a few manufacturers to make both the head and shaft of their drivers, believing the best shaft for a particular head is one that is designed specifically for it. And it’s product performance which is at the heart of Honma design and manufacturer.
Honma, although premium, are at the forefront of the technology race too with some of the most innovative solutions to golfs perennial problems. The carbon crown on their TW747 drivers is the thinnest in the industry and features a ribbed structure which adds strength and allows for the precise construction. Their non-rotating adjustment system is another industry first. This enables micro adjustments of the lie angle (max. +2º), loft angle (max. ±1º), and face angle (max. ±1.5º) without removing or rotating the shaft.
As their product offering and reputation grows across Europe be sure to check back in with Golfbidder to learn all about the new kid on the block - and one that’s around for the long haul.
At Golfbidder we're delighted to stock Honma golf clubs - as used by Justin Rose who won the 2019 Farmers Insurance Open with the TW747 460 driver.
