Carrier Access Point
What is a Carrier Access Point?
Carrier Access Point networks offer a convenient, fast and efficient alternative to home delivery. You can collect your parcel from a Carrier Access Point location chosen by you and at a time that fits your daily routine.
They offer a broad range of locations and opening hours (e.g. early in the morning, late in the evening, during the weekend) – all of which will be communicated to you when selecting your Carrier Access Point to ensure you get the right one.
How does a Carrier Access Point work?
Using a Carrier Access Point is simple to use and is fully integrated into the checkout process on Golfbidder. When ready to complete your order, select a Carrier Access Point as your desired delivery method and follow the instructions.
You will receive an email notification when your parcel arrives and is ready to collect. You then have ten calendar days to collect your parcel with UPS or DHL, and 7 days with DPD.
After which the carriers will send the parcel back to Golfbidder.
Collecting your parcel at a Carrier Access Point
Collecting your parcel is very simple. Ask for the parcel by your name and a form of ID from the options below:
Government-issued photo identification such as a driver's license, passport, foreign national, or military ID or any other photo ID containing your full name, along with a utility (or other) bill which also contains your full name
If someone else is collecting on your behalf, they will need to bring your identification based on the criteria and their own.
The Carrier Access Point will record their signature, name, and type of identification presented for security purposes.
Returning your items through a Carrier Access Point
You can drop off any package with a prepaid label at a designated Carrier Access Point that matches your return label. Depending on what time of day you drop off your package, it will either be collected the same day or safely stored at the location and collected next working day.
