Ping Zing 2 BeCu. Offering the key weighting features of the ZING iron with more rounded shape, the Ping Zing 2 continued the emphasis on "extreme" weighting to optimise forgiveness for greater accuracy. The Ping Zing 2's sole design not only complements the extreme weighting design, but also reduces the surface area in contact with the turf to promote clean ball contact. First launched in 1994 - Ping Zing 2s are so popular you can still buy the standard steel version new from Ping. Indeed, Lee Westwood used a set to help thump the Americans in the 2004 Ryder Cup. (with apologies to all our US site visitors!). The beryllium copper heads are softer than the standard steel version - and just slightly smaller to compensate for the heavier weight of beryllium.
