Traded in to Golf Bidder to put towards a Taylormade R9 SuperTRI. Ive got to give my honest opinion the Driver is a great club and very forgiving. I had the FT-iQ from a Golf Show when I first used it on the course the difference was immense longer and more forgiving. But when I change my grip from a strong grip i seemed to struggle with it. and to be honest it was the reason I sold it. I felt I had lost confidence in the club. All in all though I still feel it was a great driver and certainly helped me lower my game. I hope it goes on to a happy home and to someone who can use its full potential.

This is a great club! Long and straight exactly as Callaway claim. There are other clubs which are more workable if you prefer to shape the ball with a draw or a fade - but you want to hit fairway splitting drives straight down the middle then this club is for you. I am an 18 handicapper and I find myself outdriving much lower handicap players with shots consistently down the middle. This club has made a big improvement to my game - I couldn't do without it.

Have only had the club for 18holes and so far very pleased with it. Even if the strike wasn't perfect it didn't punish me too badly. When you hit sweet spot it went miles.

had an ft-5 before this club ,the ft-iq is at least 20 yards longer and much straighter ,i can also draw this club as well ,money very well spent

Bought this club having been on a Vector Launch Monitor with my old driver (FT-i, 11deg, Reg Flex), and then comparing it against the FT-iQ. Difference was immediate. Much better ball flight and an extra 15-20 yards on a good hit. As always, Golfbidder delivered promptly and I would recommend both this club and Golfbidder as the best.

Lower more penatrating flight than the FT-i i was using previously. less of a ear splitting noise off the tee as well which is much better. more run (around 10yards on wet faireways) and very obviously less spin as seen through the flight of the ball (more of an arc than steaming upwards and dropping out of the sky). distance seems to be gained due to betetr flight control not just carry. Shaft (Fubuki) feels a little more dead than the speeder i was using but dont be fooled. the power it is generating is equal to the speeder 757 but the flight its giving out is much better. basically doing exactly what all of the hype says it does - im not normally fooled by golfing hype but the shaft and new designed FT-iQ tour head is an excellent edition to my bag. head cover is a bit rubbish with magnets etc but not really that bothered about what covers it.

Up graded to the FT-iQ from the FT-i and the effect was instant. Longer and straighter plus with a much sweeter noise on impact, would recommend the switch to anybody, the headcover is a bit slutish

Topping the first drive was not a a good start and it didn't really improve. The club was 20 to 30 yds shorter off the tee than my Taylormade SuperQuad and a much higher flight. Having also used a FT5 I found the FT-iQ a disappointing addition to my bag. Yes it was straight but could not save my bad shots which went higher and further right than ever. Sound off the face is OK but that headcover is abysmal, how can they get so right with 3 wood FT-i but so wrong here. There is no way the price can be justified on a performance basis so I am going back to the Taylormade....
