About Ping ISI Nickel

Ping ISI Nickel. Ping's aim with these irons was to combine the accuracy of the Zing 2 model with the shot-making capability of the popular Eye 2. Ping's engineers achieved this goal through extreme perimeter weighting and a patented cavity design that has an ellipse and five vibration-absorbing 'starburst' design. A more rounded shape, a cleaner top line, and alignment markings on the face give the golfer confidence over the ball. The result is a club that feels solid, offers the playability that golfers need to control their shots, and is forgiving on mishits. This was the first ever club made from nickel. Astonishingly expensive when launched, Ping ISI nickels are rare. First launched in 1996 - ISIs are so popular you can still buy the standard steel version new from Ping.

just brilliant irons , what more can I say ? had a set of ISI-S irons when they first arrived on the scene back in the late 90s and got on famously with them , game improved and like so many you move on to clubs you believe will make you a better player still - enter a set of Titleist blades now if I had sufficient ability to have my A game always on week after week I dare say the Titleists would still be in the bag ? as it happens I'm more than happy to sacrifice the machismo of being seen using a 'players' club for consistency in my game - exactly what the ISI-N gives me the bottom line of your score card just wants to know how few strokes - not what latest gear you use ! the ISI irons now may be cracking on for 10 years old but to anybody that knows Ping they know it was one of their better irons - truly lasting quality :) great service by Golfbidder ! - Irons ordered over the weekend , arrive first thing on the Tuesday morning - top condition and better than expected - really satisfied

I currently play the ISI Nickel irons, black dot. They are the most solid iron out there. They are extremely forgiving and look great too. They have an incredible feel. I played the Callaway x-14's previously and they were even no match for these irons.
