I have tried a few hybrids but never have been able to get on with them. I bought a Yonex driver from Golfbidder and have had great success with the club and so impressed with the quality of the club decided to get the Hybrid XC from Golfbidder. Great quality and what a difference to other makes; I can fade, draw and hit it straight at will. The club just does what you want. Lovely feel with the weight at the bottom, gets the ball in the air with little effort. I am a convert to Yonex the quality of manufacture certainly enhances your game, not hearing much hype of the make it must be one of the secrets of good golf.

Yonex shafts are feeling progressively cheaper as time goes by. the stiff one on this feels rubbery and tough to control. The head on the club is decent, pretty straight faced and solid and nice at address. excellent service from Golfbidder, but may have to re shaft this club

A very good buy....yardage approaching my driver length but much more accurate...ideal for tight holes....real value for money

I've always had great difficulty getting a wood away off the fairway, so had always used a 4 iron, which I usually hit ok. But decided to get this XC club, which matches my powerbrid driver, to try and improve my long game.
I bought the 'light' flex by accident as I usually use a 'regular' and was in a rush when I bought the club, but actually this is ok, although initially it did feel strange.
How am I getting on with the club, well so far so good. 2 rounds on which I have used the club in total about 6 times - 4 good shots, 2 not so good - but no disasters. I've found it quite easy off the fairway as long as you play it like a long iron and concentrate on hitting the ball as the club is still coming down, it certainly gets it up in the air better than other woods. Off the tee, again, it gets the ball up quick and actually hits the ball not far short of my 12 degree driver.
Overall, very pleased with the club. Buy I'm glad I paid in the 50's and not the retail price - who pays that for 1 golf club!!
I'll be looking to add the 25 degree xc next season.

I used the golfbidder upgrade scheme which worked very well.Golfbidder offered me a very fair price on the clubs i wanted to sell.I purhased the yonex cyberstar xc hybrid which arrived within 48hours.I then sent my clubs to golfbidder who credited my account and paid for the postage. The club itself was marked as an eight overall and appeared almost new.If you struggle with long irons then this is the club for you.It is very forgiving with all the quality you expect from yonex.

I have avoided a hybrid club thinking it is just another fairway wood. How wrong can you be. From the very first hit I have discovered just how easy it is to strike the ball with this club and the accuracy is awsome. Best club I have bought in over forty years golfing and I now want the number three.

I have found the club to be a good replacement for my low irons, enabling me to get distance and accuracy

I have recently purchased 3 Yonex Hybrid rescue woods from Golf Bidder 16, 19, & 22 degree. All three were in very good condition with not much to choose between them. They have improved my golf from about 200 yards out and am hitting more greens in regulation. They are much easier to hit than a long iron, I should have bought these years ago! Also very good value at about 40% of the new price.
