Very satisfied with the clubs,they were in very good condition. I was hopeless using irons before, now I can strike the ball well. I feel confident my shots will go straight and I rarely duff a shot. These clubs have moved my game on considerably.

the X14 are the next model after my old X12s This is the first time I have used graphite shafts in my irons and they will help with my slower swing speed.I think I may need ladies shafts now my swing has slowed down.but would like them longer than standard.

I have only tested these over the range so far. Very easy to hit, even a bad shot went straight! The clubs are in great condition also, and cannot be faulted. The delivery service from GolfBidder is excellent. Clubs were well packed to protect against damage. Would definitely buy from here again.

Having played with the same McGregor irons for about 15 years I decided it was time for a change. Only been to the range so far but the feel off the club face is excellent and there certainly seems to be a bit more carry. Can't wait to get on the course with them. First class service from Golfbidder who I would happily use again - the clubs were as stated with the grips and shafts in better condition than expected.

Picked up this set as an amateur Got a full set of irons and two woods for excellent value. Even though rated as "average" quality; in my eyes good as new in terms of function.

Being pretty much a beginner I was looking for a set of clubs that would help my game and give me some consistency. All reviews seemed to lead me to Callaway and the x-14's are working out great for me. I'm still struggling off the fairway with 3-5 irons but closer to the tee eg from 170yds and less my accuracy is greatly improved. The clubs feel better than what I'm used, my swing feels more consistent as these clubs seem like they have a nice weight to them. I'd definitely recommend these to other beginners

Excellent quality older model irons, still very popular, retaining the more traditional head shape rather than the more bullky top and soul of later x series models which I could not get any consistency with, especially around the greens. Very pleased with the condition of the set purchased, backed with a very efficient service from Golfbidder - I am a very satisfied customer.

I ordered a full set of Callaways, X14 Irons and then Steelhead woods and X460 driver. The lot was £500 which is good value. Longer irons are in good nick. New grips on some clubs. Some of shorter irons are more used, but still good to hit.
Would definately recommend if you are mid-handicapper and want good value 2nd hand clubs.

i only received the clubs last week and played two times with them but they have improved my game alot already. had ping irons and could not hit them. im only a beginner and would recommend these club if ur having trouble connecting like i was.. delivery was fast and clubs were in very good condition

Excellent irons, forgiving and they go high and long! 3 Iron off the tee is excellent! Superb service from golf bidder the irons I purchased were rated 7,7,7 I would have thought they were more like a 9,9,9! The best site on the internet by far for all your golf clubs, especially the models from a few years back at a fraction of the price!

Having used a very cheap set of irons for almost 10 years, after losing a couple of these clubs I decided it was time for a new set. The difference these Callaway irons produced is unbelievable. The low irons are so easy to hit and I am now using the 3 iron off the tee on par 4's as it is almost as long as a driver but a lot straighter. Very forgiving but when you hit the sweet spot the ball really flies. Great clubs and great service from golfbidder.

Upgraded from an old set of irons and difference is amazing. Played last weekend for the 1st time in 3 years and hit some lovely iron shots. Very forgiving and ideal to get me back into the game!

I sometimes have trouble hitting a driver off the t and find hitting a long iron easier. Since purchasing the callaway x-14 2 iron I am finding the fairway on a regular basis which is improving my game all the time.

I am new to golf and purchased a starter set of clubs almost 1 year ago. I decided it was time for a new set of irons and purchased X-14's I struggle with the utility clubs so purchased a 2 iron to go with my set and cannot praise it enough. I am even hitting it off the tee on the windy days and getting it as far as the driver every time.

I have only used these once since I received them. Delivered very promptly and as stated on the description. I have switched to steel shafts after borrowing sons Callaway X14 irons. Although due to a damaged shoulder I may have to switch back to Graphite. I am hitting the short irons really well and the 4 and 5 off the tee well but not getting a lot more distance than with my graphite cobras. I will persevere as they look and feel a grwat club.

The irons arrived on time and in good condition. I used them a couple of days later and they were great. I think I hit 12 greens in regulation which is 12 more than usual. Compared to my old Hogans they felt light, were very forgiving and effortlessly long. I'm delighted.

These clubs really inspire confidence because they are so forgiving on off-centre hits whilst still sending the ball a long way. Their lightness ensures they are easy to swing on the first tee and on the eighteenth fairway and they are sleek at the side of the clunky and chunky big berthas. The grey shafts and white lampkin grips give the clubs a cool dazzling look too. A great buy for those who know they have all the required shots in their locker but haven't found the key to release them yet.

I found the clubs a pleasant surprise; I can hit the ball with great enthusiasm and delight. The clubs feels well balanced and well made, when addressing the ball you can feel the shot is going to be good. A good investment for improving my game I am more than satisfied.

Is this a record? I have been playing with my set of Kel Nagle PGF Model T.F.X. blades since 1970!! They always played pretty well (and I only ever broke the 7-iron shaft(about 20 years ago)) but, as I get older, I have been finding the strain of hitting these old blades long (and not very straight)has become rather more telling on my chronic lower-back injury.
So, last week, I decided I am old enough at 50 to lean on "modern" Golf technology. I treated myself to a pre-owned set of these Callaway Steelhead X14s and played a round at Ealing GC on Tuesday. To say I found every iron in the set to be "more forgiving for the 18-handicapper" would be true - albeit a little facile - but the really, vitally telling thing for me was that after playing my normal "how far can I hit the ball game" my back felt fine; no hobbling, shuffling, bent-over OAP limp to the car. I was feeling fine and no chronic fatigue the next day either!

considering when these irons came out they are fantastic. they are long, workable and forgiving and feel great off the tee. these irons are also very similar in feel to taylormade rac os irons but far cheaper, x-14s are great

As far as 2 irons go this has to be one of the best i have ever hit. It is also easy to shape the ball and a god send for those windy days when you need a low attacking shot to that long par 3.
