After playing for around 5 years with Callaway Big Bertha 06 irons it was time for a change and decided I would try some forged irons. So far I have had two trips to the range with the S2 forged irons and first impressions are good. The steel shafts give me a lot more confidence than I had with the graphite shafted Callaways and I found the clubs really easy to hit. The ball seemed to be landing a lot shorter than my previous clubs (this could be down to the range balls) but I was consistently hitting good shots with the ball landing close to where I wanted it. The irons look good and they had a really nice feel when striking the ball.
