Clveland Hi Bore XLS Hybrid. New for 2008 the Hi Bore XLS Hybrid features more offset than the original Hi Bore hybrid, promoting a square face at impact for unparalleled directional and trajectory control. Tour feedback has led to a more blunt toe and symmetrical shape for an appealing look at address. The offset design promotes a square face at impact, preventing slices and making it easier for directional and trajectory control. The additional offset also frames the ball more like an iron by positioning the leading edge closer to the hosel

This club is fabulous for high/medium handicappers who are not very good with long irons as you can use it off all types of lies and also as a chipping club around the greens

I bought the Cleveland Hi Bore 2 iron hybrid with two specific par 3's at my course , both around 190 -200 yards .the first par 3 was off the forward winter tees so a 5 irondid the trick. After carding a gross 50 for the front 9 my enthusiasm was on the wane .However at the 10th, the other par 3, out came the club, a perfect drawn shot to around 12 feet and I sunk the putt. A couple of golf balls will eventually be coming my way thanks to the new club. As always the service was first class including the delivery information.

I found the club superb. Just so eay to hit, even with off centre hits. Also very easy to get the ball in the air. This club just instills confidence in your long game-I will be getting a higher loft one as well so I can remove 3, 4 and 5 irons from my bag and use hybrids instead. There is just so much more margin for error with Hybrid or untility clubs than with long irons.
