Having purchased this club, it has already knocked off a number of shots. My local course being very long and a variety of challenging Par 4's and 5's, this club has given me the confidence to go for some of my shots, rather than playing two safe shots instead. Also off the tee, I am nearly hitting it as far as my driver, but with improved, and more consistent accuracy.

Filled a hole between much loved 3 and 5 and dumped a chipper to make space. I should have done it years ago.

Have just bought the 2/16 degree model.I have been using the Taylormade suite of Mid Rescues for a few years now and cannot speak too highly of them. They are more powerful than their respective iron's number but once you have recognised that and factored it into your shotmaking you will not find a better club for dastardly 'off fairway' lies. They are very easy to hit and massively forgiving. They are equally at home off tight fairway lies so are very much an all rounder. There is a nice head weight to the club which gives a great sensation of feel. The club sits very nicely and reassuringly behind the ball at address and is very easy to square up to the shot line. My only difficulty is selecting which clubs to take out of the bag to make room as the longer rescues can make the higher woods redundant. I would recommend this model to anyone.

The service from Golfbidder was as always reliable and first class, the club condition was described as a 6 which I was a little wary of as I usually look for a rating of 8 but on checking the club over I was delighted with the condition and found it perfectly acceptable. This club was purchased as I had been a little wayward with my 3 wood and I already had a 16 degree version gathering dust at home which I gave another chance too and immediately found that I was hitting straight again with only a small loss of distance over my 3 wood, the clubs purchased have now replaced my current rescue clubs, these Taylor Made Mid Rescues are good solid no frills clubs that feel right do the job well and give me that all important confidence.

This club has a really well balanced solid feel. It gives a high handicapper like me confidence to swing thru' rather than at the ball. The condition of the club and rapid delivery were up to Golfbidder's usual high standards.

Excellent club. Already use the 19 degree, so bought the 16 degree to go with it. Both great clubs!

Excellent bit of kit that I wouldn't want to not have in my armoury. Well pleased with this purchase, thank you Golf Bidder!

The club was in good condition and well lived up to the description. A reliable and useful addition to the bag

The condition of the club is even better than i taught. Hitting the ball well at the moment. Great value for money. Would not hesitate to buy other clubs.

an excellent club - a solid strike leads to a penetrating and straight ball flight. hits the ball a surprisingly long way!

To be honest when i first tee'd up to hit this rescue all of a sudden it looked really hard to hit and i thought i made a mistake... But after i hit that fistr tee shot im neva gona look back haha!!! brilliant club hitting it longer than my driver by a gd 20 yards!!!! Thank you golf bidder

This club just goes. when hit dead centre it has a beautiful flight, starts low and keeps rising. Im hitting my 16 degree 230yds easy. And no fear of going left.

Excellent club, I already have the 22 deg, and it is really easy to hit long and high. Decided to get a 19 deg to replace 2 iron/5wood aiming to hit approx 220yds, so bought Burner Rescue last year presuming the next model up would be better. But couldn't get on with the club, even though I think it will suit others. As I hit 22 deg mid rescue so well, went for the 19 deg. I think it looks good at address with the silver and black crown contrast, and it is just like the 22 deg, really easy to hit. Long par 3's and 5's on in two here I come. If you like the other mid rescue this is just as easy to hit. A good club!

FANTASTIC...This club goes straight down the middle,And is probably the easiest club i have EVER hit.
I Just set myself up as normal, then without any effort and a nice easy swing, the ball goes the same distance,( Maybe More ) than a well hit 3 Wood.
I used this off the tee 13 times, and it was just perfect.I now refer to this club as my Wand.Simple and very easy to hit,and Pure Magic...
I would recomend anyone who`s having trouble with a 3 wood,to seriously consider using one of these clubs.
In all honesty, its like hitting a 7 iron, but with the distance of a 3 wood.

With the Taylor Made mid rescue in my bag, I now have the confidence to hit that awkward shot from that awkward distance from the fairway or the rough, hit my normal shot without having to force an iron to do the same, and know it will cut through the grass and not turn over in it. There's nothing like watching a well hit shot from that awkward distance and awkward lie go straight and set you up with a birdie chance.

Great club if your a poor long iron player and for distance playing out of semi and light rough

The TaylorMade rescue clubs are one of the few improvements in golf technology that actually improve your game whatever your handicap. The Rescue Mid 3 gets the ball into the air and gives you distance out of any lie. A must for club golfers.

used this club for the first time in poor weather conditions and it was excellent. The distance and control was great, i would recommend if you have trouble using long irons get one of these it will make a big difference. excellent service from golfbidder.

I now have 3 TM Rescue Mids, 2,3 & 5. All are easy to use on fairways, in the rough and out of bunkers. Struck sweetly my new 2 will give me 200 yards off the fairway and it came looking like new. I have thrown out my woods and long irons. I have an R7 driver, my 2,3,& 5 RMs and 6-9 irons plus a couple of wedges. All you need.
Tony_S H.Cap (9) 24.09.06
I found the club easy to use. On tight holes it is easier to put the ball on the fairway and it does go a long way. I have since also bought the 3 and 5 and discarded the woods and long irons from my bag. I don't like changing clubs and have done it reluctantly as it is now necessary to learn how far each club hits the ball and where to position the ball to hit it straight. However, having tried a friends clubs I have now bought my own and am very pleased with them so far.
carver1705 H.Cap (9) 21.09.06
This club is a 2 iron replacement, but is a lot easier to hit.
out of the rough or on the fairway it flies 220 yrds, no one should buy another 2 iron unless they have tried these first.
mlanger H.Cap (22) 07.09.06
Very nice club, very easy to get the ball airborn and easy to hit from all kinds of lies. Awsome for low, rolling chip shots, the club head just clips through the grass without getting entangled. The quite large offset makes the club a bit difficult to set up square and may be a bit too much if you hit a natural draw.

After a long lay off am back trying to play golf. Woods have been a problem but since buying a 2 & 4 rescue mid clubs what a difference. At a lesson with my pro he could not believe the distance I was getting with both clubs. At 77yrs i am hitting longer then when I was in my 40's. Thank you Taylor Made
coppinpr H.Cap (22) 30.06.06
This is the second Taylor Made rescue club I have bought and I can only say they are great. The extra loft (22) on this club and the steel shaft reduces the distance over my other rescue which is just what I wanted. I can easily get 170-180 yards of the fairway with this club alowing me to remove another couple of irons from my bag. Much easier to use and more forgiving than the irons I can only say get one now,you wont be disapointed
narayan H.Cap (18) 12.03.06
The very first day I started using the new rescue club I broke the 40 and scored 38 (6 under my handicap for 9holes)for the first time, thanks to the mid rescue club!!I expect to reduce my handicap this coming summer.
jezzab H.Cap (21) 01.09.05
I got this club 3 weeks ago when i was playing to a 28, and I've been cut to a 21, an incredable 7 shots. I think this is the easiest club to hit long and straight, I now no longer need to use my 3 or 4 irons as I am not confident with them.
alibijoe H.Cap (4) 26.05.05
I bought a MidRescue 3 (from GolfBidder, natch) last year, and it's the best club I've had in 40 years. Even off-centre hits fly high and mostly true, and it is worth at least 1 or 2 shots per round on par 5's and long 4's. You can use it from the tee, fairway, rough and chip with it too. Especially recommended for beginners - much easier to hit than a long iron or driver and you could use it for every shot until you get to medium iron distance.
inmyowntime H.Cap (13) 16.02.05
This has to be the best club for the last few years. Very easy to hit, it has pensioned off my 1 iron and fairway woods and must save me 2-3 shots a round.
Expect a bit of stick from your mates about the whole rescue club concept but they'll soon want to try it.
