About Titleist 907 D1

Features and benefits of the Titleist 907 D1 driver:

  • The 907 D1 which is slightly triangular in shape and is aimed at all golfers - and the 907 D2 which has a more traditional shape and is aimed at more serious players.
  • Both have face angles which are square (not slightly closed or 'draw-enhanced' as many other drivers are).
  • The Titleist 907 D1 driver is a multi-material 460cc driver with a high MOI for increased distance with forgiveness and outstanding playability.
  • The benefit of a higher MOI is longer distance (better energy transfer from club to ball) on off-centre hits.

HEADCOVERS: If a headcover is pictured in the photo above then the wood comes with the manufacturer’s matching headcover. If it is not in the photo, we do not have the matching headcover – but the club will be supplied with a brand new plain black tadpole headcover free of charge.:-

Titleist 907 D1 User Reviews

This 907 D1 driver is a great driver. When it was new it was critisized for been strange shape, and launching high. Now a lot of drivers have now gone down this route and it looks normal. I went to a number of demo days for the lastest golf gear, looking for a driver that would give me more forgiveness and hit more fairways. I bought this driver as a stop gap until I decided which brand to get. Now this driver will be staying in my bag, its as good as any of the latest drivers out there. Its very long & straight, yes it gives a loud crack when you hit it from anywhere on the face.

Awesome product, shaft has increased reliability on what is already a really forgiving golf club. distance and control considerably improved!

Really good quality product, more than impressed with the honesty of the service at Golfbidder. Shaft comes out quite a lot softer than the Diamana equivalent so have no changed bt definitely a high quality product that I would recommend for others

Great servce from Golfbidder yet again. Driver is in excellent condition. Bought it for the times when I want a lower flight in the windy conditions and it does that job well.

the most impressive feature of my new driver is its ability to be straight off the tee. this makes it so much easier and more enjoyable to play a round of golf.

I first used this club when they brought it out 3 yrs ago, the price at that time was £299 way out of my price range but i always remember how well i hit it that day! At that time i was playing off a 15 handicap and have came down to 10 playing with a nike sumo driver, then i saw this going for a song on golfbidder and couldnt resist.... and how glad i am it hasnt disappointed me. Although it makes a weird clanky sound when hit dont be put off its very easy to hit and sits well at address, shapes your shots as well, and gives me an extra 20yds on the sumo, excellent club and thank goodness for golbidder the club was as described, excellent condition..

I hit the ball a decent distance(240-270 yds) but fight a hook. It took me a little while to get used to the triangular shape of the 907 D1 from above, as well as the slightly shallower face, but after around 20 balls it was immediately noticeable how straight this driver was when compared to my previous Taylor Made. It sounds cliche, but this has really given me confidence around the course, and I find myself being more aggressive with my drives knowing they are going to be straight. My least favourite aspect of the club is not how it sounds, but how loud it is - my first session at the range left my ears literally ringing! But its a small price to pay for the results, and the club is definately staying in my bag because of the uncannily straight ball-flight it produces.

Great Club, long of the tee and still able to work the ball. Less forgiving than some drivers but for good ball strikers this club is the one!

Perfect club, able to hit long and straight. Normally struggle with driver but no such problems with this club.

Tried this club when it first came out, thought it was fantastic then, couldnt afford the £299 back then. Bought this on friday it arrived today(monday) 15 minutes before i went out for a game at my local club. Never missed a fairway all day and shot a scratch 77, the club is magic. I,m hoping to get down to single figures by the end of the season, this is definitely going to help.......

This is a very nice driver and despite having a strange look at address compared to even some square heads it is very easy to hit. With my other driver TMR5 I found I nearly always hit push/fade and always end up on the right hand side. With this driver I have found it has been going almost straight and have even managed to get a bit of a draw going on. Not especially longer than any other driver and a little bit tinny sounding it is otherwise a very good club.

Although I personally prefer traditional head shape, this club set very good at address. 460cc head is amazing, it launchs the ball high and miles further. I assure this is the best purchase ever.

Got this driver last christmas, on 1st sight its looks are off putting BUT get it on the course!! was playin off 12 and i;ve since been cut 6 shots to 5.5 and won afew comp's in doing so. great club, so easy to work the ball in the air, anyone lookin to take there golf to the next level this is the driver for you.

I've used Titleist drivers for years and enjoy the more traditional looks and the ability to shape the ball so this isn't a club I would normally have gone for. BUT I've got to say it's a great club. It sits reasonably square, for something akin to a bungalow on a stick, and whilt being very forgiving it's easy enough to shape. In terms of distance it seems pretty long too even on the off-centre hits. It'll be staying in my bag for quite some time.

I am a scratch golfer and have tried many drivers and when I tried the D1 I was amazed,it is aimed for mid to high handicaps but I feel that anyone can use it,it gets the ball a higher trajectory and with the face not being closed as much drivers are now a days it alows more height and more carry with out having to hit or swing harder are faster, with out the best driver out and about at the moment and would ask everyone to try it out you will not regret it and with such a great service of GOLFBIDDER you will have it soon,

i replaced a mizuno mx 500, i would say the mizuno is more forgiving, however when i connect with the D1, i do get a bit more out of it, i'm sure over the next few games, i will be able to leave the mizuno at home. ps .. the D1 is beautiful ! , looks better than i am playing it at the moment

Bought this club following other reviews on golfbidder. Found the club to be an instant success and has allowed to be much straighter off the tee and hiiting a higher percentage of fairways. Makes a great sound when you hit the ball and it goes miles

After years only ever using a 5 wood from the tee I eventually this year moved up to a driver. I borrowed this club of partner one day and found it so easy to use. It has transformed my game. The club is so well weighted and the flex on the shaft is supperb, I am now hitting in excess of 260 yards on a regular basis, this club is superb for any standard of player.

After a four of years great service from my trusty 905T I felt it was time to experiment and get a bit more assistance from the technology that is out there. I was expecting a similar performance from the 907 D1 as to be honest I didn’t think I would ever hit the any ball longer. I was surprised that I was actually hitting 10-20 yards longer and more importantly, I’m finding it much easier to keep in the fairway. I do not know if it is the shape or the new materials that have made the difference but the boys at titleist have sorted me out with this one.

I tried this out both on and off the course a couple of months when it first came out. Shocking! Titleist have tried to follow on from Callaways success with the oddly square shaped FTI but have failed miserably in making this model traingular shaped. The trajectory is ok if you really work on it but the sound at impact is like you've just spanked a tin of baked beans off the tee. The D2 is slightly better but to be honest neither of these come close the the quality of the 905R. Save your money and buy a 905R for less money!!!
