Features and Benefits of the Cleveland Launcher DST driver:

Lightest Driver on the PGA Tour: 25 grams lighter overall clubweight than standard drivers produces faster clubhead speed for greater overall distance (3-10 yards).
Variable face thickness allows higher C.O.R. on off center impacts. Mis-hits benefit from a higher trampoline effect for more ballspeed and distance.
9 grams of weight is removed from the face and repositioned low and deep in the clubhead creates a deeper center of gravity for higher moment of inertia and straighter drives.
Longer shaft length (45.75") and lighter weight (47g) allow increased swingspeed (3-5mph) translates to higher ballspeed and longer drives.

I've been hitting a Cleveland HiBore XL with Fujikura Stiff flex. At a demo day TM, they recommended a regular shaft. I hit the DST pretty good but the regular flex lost me about 35yds. So I'm sticking to Hi Bore for now, Maybe a Launcher 290 in a year, after I've been to their fitting day.

I am still mastering this club but it is awesome and when fired the ball flys off the face to the sound of a gunshot which attracts interest from all around. It compliments my Cleveland 3 wood and hybrid 4i - and I will master it!
