Titleist Spin Milled SM58.08 Wedge (Oil Can Finish).This is a classic teardrop shaped wedge with a CNC machined face which creates a rougher surface for better spin retention on partial shots. Manufactured from 8620 Mild Carbon Steel with Oil Can finish for soft, solid feel. Titleist Vokey Design Spin Milled wedges are unique in providing a truly discernible performance option - increased spin. Vokey Spin Milled wedges have 30% more groove volume than a conventional wedge which provides more consistent and higher spin, particularly from grassy lies and wet conditions. The SM58.08 is a sand and utility wedge with 58° of loft and 8° of bounce. A moderate sole width and reduced camber make this an excellent sand and fairway wedge, and good for short pitch shots. The higher loft allows this wedge to be used for lob shots as well.
