Taylor Made R9 TP Fairway - "Flight Control Technology lands on the fairway"
The TaylorMade R9 TP fairway woods are set to follow the R9 and R9 TP driver in flying off the shelves. TaylorMade are to utilise their new Flight Control Technology (FCT) in the new R9 TP fairway. Like with the R9 drivers, the fairway features the FCT sleeve and FCT bolt, and gives you the ability to adjust the club's look at setup and effect changes in ball flight and trajectory.
TaylorMade say that their FCT promotes a trajectory change of up to 35 yards from side to side. This will help golfers hit the ball straighter and longer. The new TaylorMade R9 TP fairways will also allow them to dial in the look they prefer at address with face angle square, slightly closed or slightly open.
Touring professionals often have their fairway metal woods tweaked to change a club head's performance and appearance at address. The new TaylorMade R9 TP fairways allow every golfer to make similar changes in seconds to boost confidence in the club head at address.
The TaylorMade R9 TP fairway wood's a new classic shape, with the centre of gravity located more than 50 per-cent lower than the similarly sized r7 fairway woods making the R9 TP fairways easier to get into the air from any lie.
The R9 TP fairways will be fitted with a tour-calibre 85-gram Fujikura Motore F1 graphite shaft (as standard) with 13-degree (strong 3-wood), 15 (3), 17 (4) and 19 (5) options available for right and left-handers.
