About Mizuno MX-200

Mizuno MX-200 Irons - 'forged, but as playable as cast irons'. New for 2009 Season - The MX-200's are designed for forgiveness with feel. They provide great confidence over long iron shots, as well as fantastic feel around the greens. The new MX-200 combines the feel of a forged iron with technology designed to offer enhanced forgiveness. The deep cavity has a reinforcement pad (known as Y-Tune) which expands the sweet spot and helps provide an extra nine yards per club than previous Mizuno MX models. The 'Y' shaped pad is situated towards the toe the area where most amateur miss hits are made. A milled deep pocket cavity - that keeps the MX-200's one piece feel intact - enhances the large sweet area even further. The MX-200 is the iron for both amateurs and professionals with a solid hitting area combined with an aggressive sole design. Mizuno's MX-200 matches cast irons for forgiveness and increases the effectiveness of the sweet area by moving it towards the toe area of the club giving extra distance even on miss hits. The MX-200 iron proves that forged irons can be as playable as cast irons for the mid to low handicapper. The MX-200s inspire confidence without seeming too bulky at address with a soft forged feel that is definitely noticeable.

I got a trial 6 iron and put it in the bag with my Ping G15's As soon as I hit it there was no doubt , the Pings were history ! Got a really nice set from Golfbidder and they are like night and day . GIR stats are way up and the 3and4 irons so easy to hit there Like using a scalpel instead of a shovel !!

Won clubs on auction site,delivered next day,excellent sevice as usual,used clubs for 4rounds they play very well shaft are not too whippy like some graphite shaft I would say leaning towards firm although they are regular,average distance but very accurate,I would say ideal for 18 down to scratch,I would definately recommend them,top quality club superb feel off the forged head

First class service and safe next day arrival. Condition of clubs was rated 7 but I felt that the actual condition was more 9. The 3 and 4 irons didn't look as if they had been hit. Don't know why , because they fly !!

Just used these today for the first time and im very impressed. Just changed from Mizuno MX17 and was worried that these would take along time to get used of but thankfully they didnt. Condition was better than described and i will difinetly buy from Golfbidder again.

The purpose of buying these clubs was to try and make my game a little bit more subtle. Having played for about a year now using clubs with a significant cavity back (Mizuno MX 17s) I wanted to try and move towards having a bit more control of the shots I was making. Overall these clubs provide that, although it has taken a few sessions at the driving range to make the necessary adjustments to grip in particular. The one thing I have noticed above the expected increase in feel is the extra distance and am now hitting about one club down than I was previously. Overall I am very happy with these, the model information pretty much sums up what I have experienced, plus the service from Golfbidder was superb as ever.
