The Mizuno MX-700 is the most powerful hybrid Mizuno have ever produced. The extra power is created by incorporating the Hot Metal ES230 steel face that is already proving so effective in the MX-700 driver and fairway woods. The club head is extremely responsive and has an ultra light face made from ES230 steel and 4-31 stainless steel body giving a far greater strike range on fairway shots than in previous models. The Mizuno MX-700's "Drop Down Crown" means the weight distribution is far lower in the club head giving a consistently impressive launch and trajectory on shots from any lie.
As with the MX-700 driver and fairway woods, the MX-700 hybrid delivers a slightly higher flight than the Mx-Fli Hi but it is still penetrating and coupled with a decent roll means it is easy to achieve that extra bit of distance. The MX-700 hybrid is available in five lofts from 17 degrees to 29 degrees and it is certainly very forgiving. The sounds and feel were excellent and those of you with a higher handicap will see the Mizuno MX-700 hybrid as a go-to club on even your worst days on the course.
