About Callaway X Hybrid

Features and Benefits of the Callaway X hybrid:

  • Provide the ultimate in hybrid performance with X Series styling and playability.
  • Incorporate a Modified X-Sole design, cutting through any thick rough while sliding smoothly over tight fairways.
  • The X-Sole design also lowers the leading edge to help get the ball airborne quickly and easily.
  • Increased perimeter weighting and an optimized centre of gravity raise the Moment of Inertia (MOI) for greater stability on off-centre hits resulting in straighter shots while also optimizing ball flight.

HEADCOVERS: If a headcover is pictured in the photo above then the wood comes with the manufacturer’s matching headcover. If it is not in the photo, we do not have the matching headcover – but the club will be supplied with a brand new plain black tadpole headcover free of charge.:-

Great Club Was using a Wilson before but this callaway x hybrid gets me better loft out of not so nice lies and is very forgiving

Already had the 18 degree 2h and wnted something a bit loftier and shorter. 3h is perfect. Now trying to justify the 4h to my wallet!

Already have the 21 and 24 degree Callaway hybrids so this almost completes my needs but possibly in the market for a 7 (29 degrees?) This week scored a net 61 (yes 61) and pulled handicap from 28 to 24 so things going well - pleased with my new addition but can't quite put it all down to my purchase - could a little skill have been involved says she modestly?

This was my first purchase from Golfbidder and i have been very impressed with the service and quality of the club i bought, which was in better condition than i had expected. I have only used the club for one round but can allready see that it will be a great asset to my game. When i get good contact, the ball easily goes 200yrds and straighter than most of my shots. Its a super club and look forward to using it more.

The first time I used this my ball had landed on a mound with a large gorse bush on it with only 3 ways out - to the side into more gorse bushes or back - which I didn't want or over the gorse bush. I stood on the mound and in the bush, definitely very uncomfortable and not right stance, and hit it and prayed may even have had my eyes closed! Up and over it went with a lot to spare. Second time, different day same hole, another row of very high gorse bushes - over it went - no problems. Not called a Rescue Club for nothing this club!!! Handicap 36 but not on list

I bought this to complete the set of 4. Condition was excellent. As expected easy to use and quite forgiving. I now only carry 6 iron upwards and use these hybrids instead of the lower irons, and am getting much better results

Tried loads of rescues and 7 woods for the ideal club from the fairway or light rough on long par 4s and par 5s, this is by far the easiest to hit and results are outstanding, feels like a 7 iron with 7 wood length.

Used for the first time today so easy to use from any lie or off the tee plus a great flight with the quality UST I Rod stiff shaft. Overall just superb & I am sure I will never see my 2 iron again !

Have been using the 3H for some time and decided to give the 4H a try. Really pleased with the results, much more forgiving than a 4 iron. Club was in much better condition than the description, almost as new. Excellent Golfbidder service as usual!

Excellent club. I can hit this club 220 yards plus and it is very forgiving. Tends to keep me in play on narrow holes and a great alternative to risking a driver. Works lovely off the fairway too to bring long par 5s into play. Very satisfying sound when hit properly but will work for you when not hit quite right. Also is very effective as an alternative to a putter from the fringe around the green.

I replaced my 5 wood with 2 hybrid as they go the same distance. The big advantage of the hybrid for me is easier to loft out of the rough and keeps it low off the tee into the wind, which there is plenty just now. I guess seeing so many pro's at Birkdale use hybrid technlogoy made my mind up for me. It was a tough decision though I still love the callaway 5 woods (except the VFT which is toed in).

Bought my first hybrid rescue club to match my other callaway x series the other day. I have always used a 3 iron from the fairway or rough but it can some times get snagged resulting in a poor shot hence poor distance. When you stand over the ball with this club it just gives you confidence knowing that you don't have to force the club to acheive the distance your after. Great buy.
