About Nike CPR III

Nike CPR III Hybrid. New for 2006. New geometry in the head features a scoop back design which moves the centre of gravity lower and further back to help players get the ball airborne. Designed for players who prefer a smaller hybrid head design, it features a more boring trajectory than the original Nike CPR Wood. It also features a shaft that is 1.75" longer than the original. Available in 18 degrees of loft (to replace 2-3 iron or 5 Wood), 21 degrees which replaces the 3-4 iron or 7 wood - or 24 degrees to replace the 4-5 iron or 9 wood.

HEADCOVERS: If a headcover is pictured in the photo above then the wood comes with the manufacturer’s matching headcover. If it is not in the photo, we do not have the matching headcover – but the club will be supplied with a brand new plain black tadpole headcover free of charge.:-

Nike CPR III User Reviews

The CPR III (I got the smaller head and longer shaft ones) is a must to have for any golfer. I bought the 21 few years ago and instantly fell in love with it, later I found a 24 that like the 21 has stayed in my bag ever since. My last investment was the 16 and it is just as good as the others, the club has a perfect balance between forgivingness and workability and can get you high and long out of almost any situation you find your self in.

I already had the 26 degree version which is brilliant but needed a lower loft for extra distance. As I love the 26 degree model I chose the 22 degree loft and now get a distance of up to 190 yards compared to about 150 with the 26 degree version.

This is a great club for those who've struggled with a fairway wood. I tried one on holiday when I borrowed a set of clubs and got on brillianlty straight away. When I got home I had to get on and bought the 22 deg. It is great off the fairway and I used it this week to great effect easily getting 200yrds with it.

Just bought the 30 degree model as I have little confidence with mid irons. This club is a gem! Clubhead feels a little heavy compared to TaylorMade Rescues, but the ball gets airborne very quickly - and they go straight! Go and try one!
