After playing golf for 4 years with rather "heavy-duty" cavity back irons, it was time for a change. I found these cobra cb forged irons from GB for a fantastic price. The irons deliver a strong, consistant performance and send the ball sailing on a fairly trajectile - "mediumish" flight. Iron heads were rated as "fair", but infact, i would say they're in really good condition. The only downside with these irons is that the heads feel a little on the 'light' side, but a bit of lead tape will sort that problem out. Overal, very pleased with clubs.

ive played with cobras for about 4 years now and have been playing with 3400ix/h but recently changed to the cb forged irons these clubs are superb i get more control and distance thanks golfbidder

I have been with cobra clubs now for a long time.Cobra 2 then ssi and now with the forged.The look of the club is very professional with its thin top line and blade appearance but this does not make them any harder to hit. After my first full round with them this weekend gone I cannot wait to get back out.I was drawing and fading the ball as and when I needed to give me that low handicap edge I have been missing. These clubs will get me back down to a low single figure handicap like I had a few years ago. My confidence is back. Bring it on !!!

Last week I replaced my old set of irons with a new set of regular steel shaft Cobra Forged CB. Various write-ups for these clubs say they are ideally suitable for those with a 10 and under handicap! Perhaps so, but I believe you play best with the club you have confidence in and now that I have had a few rounds with these Cobras they have boosted my confidence no end. Aged 67, and into my sixth year of playing golf my handicap is 17. Using my driver and say a 3 or 5 wood I can usually get within chipping distance of green on a par 5 and then my problems start. I could not buy a decent chip shot until this week. I could not believe the difference these new clubs made around the green, and the 100 –150 yard shots brought a smile to my face. (Only suitable for the 10 and under handicapper?) Watch this space! Joe Donoghue.
