About Callaway FT

Callaway FT irons. The FT irons are an evolution of the original Fusion irons, the new FT irons deliver the utmost in performance and playability. Multi-material construction allows for premium performance and the Tunite cradle has been optimized with the addition of Extreme Notch Weighting. Eighty percent of the clubhead's weight is positioned in the extreme perimeter for a higher MOI and enhanced stability and forgiveness. The new head shape will appeal to more mid-to low-handicap players. Callaway have designed the FT irons to appeal to better players. With less offset, a thinner top line and a higher toe the Callaway FT irons have a much more traditional look without losing any forgiveness. This has been achieved by moving 80% of the club head's weight to the perimeter for outstanding forgiveness. The Tunite Cradle, made of a high-density proprietary alloy, plus Lightweight Hot Titanium Face and TPU SenSert cavity-back insert combine to create a powerful, forgiving and solid feeling iron.

My first ever big spend on irons after numerous hand me downs! Wow what a difference, these irons hit very long and straight..5 iron going 170..ive had to re-adjust club selection. They feel brill handicap will be down this year!!!

Clubs arrived on Tuesday and after one session on the range I played in a competition on Saturday and shot 6 below my handicap - 42 points with 24 on the front 9!! This is about a dozen shots better than I have been playing in competitions for the last six months so my initial review has to be very positive. Agree that they seem to play slightly longer than I am used to so overshot the green several times which makes a pleasant change. Thought I would get my review in quickly because who knows what the next round will bring. I have had good and bad days on the course however these clubs have given me one of the best.

Ordered this set on Monday, received on Thursday, in the Netherlands. Very quick!! The set was rated triple 8 by Golfbidder, but in my opinion a triple 9 would be more suitable. I'm very very happy with my purchase on Golfbidder. One remake on this website though. I saved myself about 50 Euro's on buying it from the UK website rather than from the Dutch website. So it might be profitable for you to search the different websites from Golfbidder. Anyways, I would recommend this website for sure. Maikel

I have sent these irons back , based on on disappointment of their condition. In my opinion, they should never have been rated a 7 ( good rating ) , based on the amount of marks, and scratches that were on them. A couple of the irons were also chipped and dented on the club face. They had clearly not been looked after by there previous owner, which was a real shame, cause they are great clubs, and were prices competitively. Thanks al the same.

I recently purchased these clubs having first demo`d then out at the local range, nice compact heads which retain the forgiveness that all H/C golfers honestly require. Fitted with a good standard steel shaft (Nippon) which will be suited to all but the strongest players, I have previously owned several callaway irons in the past the last being the X-20 tour these FT irons in my view are superior.
