About Taylor Made R9 460

Features and benefits of the TaylorMade R9 460 driver:

R9 460 driver which combines the incredible Flight Control Technology (FCT) of the R9 driver with the sheer power and wonderful forgiveness of a 460cc club head.
With Flight Control Technology any golfer can easily use the TaylorMade wrench to adjust the face angle, loft and lie of the R9 460 simply by loosening a bolt and rotating the shaft into the preferred position.
This allows all golfers to enjoy a driver perfectly suited to their swing that promotes straighter and longer drives.
The R9 460 also helps promote draws and fades with different settings allowing for a side to side trajectory change of up to 40 yards, with the same settings also helping to reduce hooks and slices.

HEADCOVERS: If a headcover is pictured in the photo above then the wood comes with the manufacturer’s matching headcover. If it is not in the photo, we do not have the matching headcover – but the club will be supplied with a brand new plain black tadpole headcover free of charge.:-

Definitely has a bit more in it than my previous Ping Rapture - but equally forgiving. I found the 10,5 degree flew a bit high but you can safely go to the 9.5 degree as there is so much loft adjustment in the technology.

I have been using my new R9 460 for just a fortnight - after all the snow and ice. I am still 'getting to grips' with it, but I am liking it more each time I use it. I have not used either of the adjustments available and I doubt if I will - it is either straight or has a touch of draw when hit properly. My distance is improving too.

I have purchased a few items from Golfbidder and I have found the service to be excellent. the Clubs are always as described often in better condition. The only complaint I have is with the next day delivery service, I have been told that I live in a area that is remote, (only 1 mile from a town) so I have had to wait sometimes 4/5 days to receive clubs.

Changing from R7 to R9 is not as simple as I thought. The R9 is a little more nervous and unstable, you have to hit the ball in the right place to make it work.
