Having only played serious golf for 3 months, I thought it was my swing causing my constant fade with the Driver. I had read and heard that you get what you pay for with clubs, but was very dubious about a club being able to "sort out all your slices and produce constant straight Driving". I took the plunge and after receiving the club (very speedily and in near perfect condition from Golfbidder) I took it straight up the range for Judgement Day.......WOW!!! First Drive....Hit the 300yd mark and perfectly straight. Now this may not seem spectacular to you, but my average Drive was only 220-250yds with my other club. No matter what I did with the Hyper X, it went long and straight. I liked the lay of the club and shaft too. Being 6'2" the more upright stance of the shaft is perfect. What Can I say.........Beleive the HYPE....Get this Club...the smartest purchase you'll make this year!!

My recent purchase was better than my expectations this club not only looked brand new but has transformed my confidence in using a Driver. Longer and more forgiving than any club owned previously, the improvment was immediate and after one session on the range I could not wait to play the course.

A confidence inspiring club that looks great at address and lets me , a mid handicapper, thump it miles. Very forgiving and makes a great sound. A real , no frills , solid driver that has taken my game on in leaps and bounds

Callaway Hyper X driver. New for the 2008 season the Hyper X driver has been eight years in the making. Callaway Golf engineers set out looking for breakthrough ball speed enhancements that would set a new standard in a crowded all-titanium driver market. The innovative Hyper X driver provides a new benchmark in performance with the introduction of Hyperbolic Face Technology, redefining the look, feel and speed at which golf balls leave the clubface. Callaway engineers have sculpted a more ball speed robust face that dramatically increases impact efficiency for greater distance on shots hit across the entire face. The 460cc head shape has been optimized for a high MOI while maintaining a traditional look. The advanced Fujikura® shaft adds to the driver's incredible feel and performance. In a driver review conducted by Golf Magazine in the US (May 08), using the Hot Stix launch monitor the longest driver on test by some distance was the HYPER X, with the fastest ball speed and the longest total distance (8 yards more than its nearest competitor).
