| From the first time I tried the demo 6 iron at the Ping dealer I was hooked. I was about to invest big time in a new set of i5's and I happened to pick up i3+ Blade demo. The difference for me, was enough for to buy a set immediately. The i3+ Blade is less offset and feels a little heavier in the head, all of which promotted a much more stable swing. The Ping stiff shaft is perfect for this wieght of head and the cavity gives a significant amount of forgiveness. Although not a forged head Ping manage to produce a very soft feel off the face, much more so than a Callaway Pro Series. I am a clubaholic and always have a few sets arround, but this one is definately my favoutite, I Keep coming back to these all the time. This is a very good club far a player who likes less offset, with a good amount of forgiveness. All Ping heads are a little strange looking at first in my opinion, but stick with them and you will grow to love them. Finally, I must mention the Ping after sales service, which is so good, it will keep me a Ping man for the rest of my golfy days. They will even custom fit a used set free of charge. All these things make me love the company and the product. Highly recommended. |
