I have had these irons for around 4-5 months now and has already lowered my handicap from a 28 to an 18! very easy to hit long and straight, great value for money and VERY forgiving would easily recommend to any golfer!

The gentlemen who says he uses these on tour....? Id like to question the integrity of this comment. I played these or the older model about 2 years ago as i was aspiring to be better and needed to cavity backs for forgivness. But as i got better and gained understanding of ball striking and trajectory the OS model severly lacks in shape-ability in the shot. The OS are aimed at people with poor ball striking ability and those who need help with confidence at address hence the large head. DO not get me wrong....if you are looking to improve and are mid to high handicap.....these are definately the club for you....they got me from 19 to 9 in under a year. For the money....the best improvement irons out there!!!

So, I purchased these Irons because I liked the 540XD driver so much and I was getting bored with my Calaway X14's. Golf Bidder did not let me down. The service was excellent and the clubs as described. How am I getting on with them? Early days. They are about the same length per club as my X14's, they are pretty easy to line up and I appear to be able to hit a fade now as well as my trademark draw!

i only took up golf last october with a crappy set of dunlop max, having realised they were holding me back i decided to change. for the money the taylormade rac os11 irons are great(£140). i,ve got my handicap down to 19, able to shape shots with very little effort. to sum it up... if your a beginner looking to improve these irons are for you!

Having lost my game & seen my handicap climb through the roof, I decided it was time to change my trusted Ping I3+'s, tried the RAC OS2, DI7's,C' Launchers, decided that for the money the DI7's where pretty good value. Never found any really consistant play with them so decided after 9 months to change, saw the RAC OS2 graphites on the Golfbidder site and took the plunge as I had liked them when I originally bought the DI7's. What a difference, have only played 2 rounds with them so far, but they are a much better club, the DI7's were not short but these are longer, easy to square up, seem to strike the ball with much less effort and very forgiving.

I'm new to the game of golf. I played a bit in the summer of 2007 and during the exam period of Uni for procrastination but I caught the golf bug and now want to become awesome. These clubs where recommended to me. Now I don’t expect to hit the ball straight every time and these clubs aren’t magic but even for my low level of skill the RAC irons made it a lot easier than the clubs I was using and I’m not gonna lie to you they could have been from the 11th century. I should mention that Golfbidder delivery was very good and the clubs only came with a few scratches on, which was mentioned in the description. Well done golf bidder

regret having to return these irons as I liked the looks and set up at address, unfortunately they felt a little light and despite the soft stainless steel heads and using Pro V balls I felt the ball hard off the face compared to my present set of 6 year old irons

grievie H.Cap 10 (Posted 04.04.07 )

Nice irons but felt rather light for me. Tended to draw the ball which did not suit me unfortunately so I have returned them. Could well suit a player who tends to fade or slice. Set looked nearly new.

Fantastic used by myself on tour the graphite version hits the ball longer than any other iron there is . THIS IS A FACT!!!

Model Info 2007

Taylor Made RAC OS II irons. RAC stands for Relative Amplitude Coefficient, a technology TaylorMade developed to improve shot-making and characterised by 'Feel Pockets' in the back of the club head. The 'OS' Stands for 'Oversize' and these are really easy clubs to hit - in fact, Taylor Made claim them to be their longest iron ever. Made of investment-cast soft stainless steel, every aspect of the trajectory and spin-rate is directed toward generating maximum yardage. Aimed at higher handicappers, the RAC OS are one of the easiest-hitting irons on the market. This updated RAC OS II version incorporates a redesigned and repositioned Tuned Performance Cartridge which relocates 32 grams to enhance MOI and is now recessed to soften impact vibration.
