I must admit that, before purchasing any clubs on golfbidder, i wen to my local range and was custom fitted by the pro. Knowing my requirements, I sat and waited until the right clubs found themselves onto the site. And how glad am I for waiting. Having upgraded from the Ping Eye 2, these clubs just immediately feel more professional. The weight of the club has increased and you can feel this in the clubhead through the swing. It takes a bit of getting used to. I find you have to allow the club to do the work rather than thrashing at the ball. But when you get the timing right, blimey oh riley. The ball flight is perfect. The trajectory is fairly high but does not lose distance. It is very responsive in regard to left and right movement. This club WILL NOT combat a slice/fade in anyway. Although this is not a pure blade club, the head is slightly smaller and would not suit a higher handicapper. I have had more than two or three shanks at the driving range!!! And finally, I would have to say these are the best looking Pings I think ever. In your bag they look great. From above, at address, they are less clumpy. A definate 10/10 from Ping.

A good work man never blames his tools but a good work man also knows that he should buy the best tools for the job. I am new to golf (3 months) and it became apparent that my first set of clubs were designed to flatter my attempts at whacking a ball rather than demanding me to do better. My I-10s have me back on the driving range re-learning lessons about my set up and swing that I thought I had mastered. I still have a way to go to hit my target of one spare shot per hole. This set of Pings demands consistancy but rewards me with the accuracy I am striving for. I am sure these clubs will deliver distance too but I am not yet to a standard where I can explore their potential.

Clubs were everything Golfbidder said on the tin.I was reluctant to change clubs in the middle of the season, but now I wish I,d made the change earlier. These are the easiest most accurate irons I have ever hit.Right from day 1 having put the I10's into my bag, my game has been put back on track.Ping have truly produced the top game improvement clubs I have played.

Model Info 2007

Ping i10 irons. New for Autumn 2007 the Ping i10 range is the replacement for the popular i5 irons. Compared to the G10 irons, the i10 irons have a smaller head design and look more like traditional players' irons while retaining a cavity back and more forgiveness. Golfers who seek game-improvement technology in their irons but still prefer a more traditional appearance may go for the i10 irons over the G10 irons. In addition to smaller offset and a thinner topline, the i10 irons also have a narrow, cambered sole to appeal more to golfers for whom workability is more of a factor. Compared to the G10 irons, the i10 irons are engineered to produce a lower, more penetrating ball flight. The same finish and colour scheme are found with these irons.
