Having recently purchased my R7 Quad it has taken a while for me to adjust the weighting system to suit my swing. I have now set the club at high neutral but this still allows me to shape shots accordingly. I`m growing in confidence every time I go to use it and have found that a high tee helps with great distance(250 carry). A great sevice from golfbidder will use them again forget ebay go to golfbidder a very professional service. Hoping this driver will bring my handicap to single figures next season. DON`T FORGET TEE IT HIGH WATCH IT FLY !!!!!

A friend gave me the opportunity to try the R7 Quad at my local course. The smaller head and sensation of feeling a little more weight in the head works for me. The difference between my old faithful driver and the E7 Quad is more balls on the fairway and 10 yards further on. I’ve played a couple of rounds with the weights set up for a low draw, however I can see the advantages, depending on how you hit the ball and the weather conditions in repositioning the weights. I got no instructions with the club from Golf Bidder, however a telephone call to them directed me to the Taylor Made web site which has a graph explaining the 6 diferent weight positions and resulting ball flight. The club was delivered to me in France and arrived in 3 days, condition as descibed, (original head cover rather tatty although it’s the club that does the talking) at a price you could not buy anywhere else cheaper.and I considered buying off ebay. Thanks GB.

WANT TO HIT THE BALL LOW AND STRAIGHT LIKE SERGIO PUT THE WEIGHTS AS INSTRUCTED 2 HIT A LOW DRAW AND WATCH THE RESULTS. IN MY VIEW THE BEST DRIVER I HAVE HIT EVEN OFF THE MIDDLE HITS WERE BOOMING DOWN THE FAIRWAY. HAS ADDED 30-40 YARDS OFF THE TEE WHICH NOW RESULTS IN HAVING A 9 IRON INTO THE GREEN INSTEAD OF A 6 IRON IF YOU DONT HAVE 1 GO OUT AND BUY 1 NOW AND WATCH YOUR HANDICAP COME DOWN.

The club arrived on time and exactly as described. The club is very easy to use and executes a much lower trajectory than my G5 which hopefully will add additional roll on landing. Haven't used the club enough yet to discover whether the distance gains are significant over the G5 which tends to carry and stop.

I am 13 years old and up till now have been using junior clubs. However when i looked around me all my friends were starting to use mens and ladies sized clubs so i decided to invest in a mens driver. This driver is fantastic!!!!! I was nervous aout taking it out at first on a course with narrow fairways but my first hit went straight down the middle and about 20 yards further than i had ever dirven on that hole! The adjustable wight system is great and the fact that the club-head is 400cc compared to the larger 460cc drivers allowed me to gain much more club head speed. An all around brilliant club which i would recmmend to all golfers.

I can only start this review in one way, and thats how this driver has effected my game since i bought it. Over the last week i have been to the range every day. I love hitting this driver so much because if the combined accuracy and distance. The feeling and sound that it produces when you hit it out the middle is second to none. I go out of my way to get down to the range and hit it, pure and simple. the driver is the most accurate driver i have hit and is without a doubt the best club i have ever bought. I have been hitting alot of the newer drivers released this summer and i really wouldnt waste my money on them because i promise this driver delivers everything and more.

Excellent, longer than my old 983k, need very tall tees though.

Took this club out for first time this weekend (25/3/07) and played a great back 9. Took a little while to warm up to things as i had new irons as well on the front 9 but shot 5 over par for the back nine!!! The club is easy to swing and well balanced and you can hit it 280 effortlessly. I drove over the tops of the group in fronts heads at one stage but purely because i thought they were well out of range! Says it all really. You won't regret buying this club. A slightly cheaper alternative to the r7 425 with much the same benefits and a slightly smaller club head, which i prefer.

The first time I used this club I swung easy and it went long and straight. The cartridges are a very good idea, for my particular swing, I have set them so the ball flight is a little lower (heavier cartridges at the front). Given this configuration, I am able to hit the ball both high and low easily, simply by teeing the ball up or down respectively. Very nice club and would recommend it to anyone looking to replace their current Driver.

after just 1 week my control of the ball off the tee has improved tenfold. This R7 quad has give me more confidence when standing up on the first tee, we all know what it's like with other club members watching. Thank you "golfbidder"

Model Info 2005

Taylor Made R7 Quad. Already a Winner on the PGA and European Tour - including Retief Goosen's win at the 2004 US Open, The R7 Quad introduces TaylorMade's Launch Control Technology (TLC). TLC incorporates 48 grams of discretionary weight - and a means to redistribute 24 grams of that weight by installing TLC cartridges of different weights into four TLC ports in the clubhead, in six different configurations. Each TLC Cartridge configuration delivers a different set of launch conditions, promoting a different launch angle, spin-rate and clubface alignment at impact. This gives you greater command over how high the ball flies, how far it carries and the direction it goes, resulting in optimum distance and accuracy. The Titanium clubhead is 400cc. Because the R7 Quad delivers multiple launch conditions and trajectories, only one model is offered or needed. Players with the ability to repeat their swing consistently and recognize subtle changes in trajectory will get the most out of the R7 Quad. Unless otherwise stated, the driver comes with all matching weights, the wrench and instructions.
