sounds as if you are hitting it with a dustbin lid but if you don't try too hard it flies. i think i am going to like this club a lot

USED THIS DRIVER FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY AT MY LOCAL RANGE. NOT ONLY WAS I AMAZED AT HOW EASY IT WAS TO USE, I WAS ALSO VERY SHOCKED BY THE VOLUME OF NOISE WHEN YOU STRIKE A BALL. AT FIRST I THOUGHT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE CLUB, THEN AFTER INSPECTION I REALIZED IT WAS FINE. SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE ON THE RANGE STOPPED TO TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT WAS CAUSING SUCH A LOUD TING. THIS DRIVER IS VERY FORGIVING, BY THE END OF MY PRACTICE SESSION I GREW IN CONFIDENCE, AND FOUND I WAS PRETTY MUCH ABLE TO HIT A NICE STRAIGHT DRIVE EVERY TIME. I WAS ALSO ABLE TO HIT IT FURTHER THAN MY OLD TAYLORMADE DRIVER. I THINK THIS DRIVER WAS EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY, GOLFBIDDER RATED THE HEAD AS SEVEN WHEN IT WAS ACTUALLY LIKE NEW. GREAT VALUE PURCHASE !.

I love my new driver, not only do I hit it 30 yards longer, it is so accurate I hit the fairway most of the time. It is the best club in my bag.

The Cobra M Speed LD is a great driver. The large head fills you with great confidence when you step up for your tee shot. Having a 500 yard par five in front of me no longer fills me with fear. The performance of the driver is superb, increasing the distance of my tee shots to 200 yards. My drives are much straighter and accurate too which is always a welcome change. I took my new driver for a round on Sunday with three others. They were all impressed with the look of the club, but not so much with the noise it makes. The sound is not so much a “ting” but a sonic boom which resonates across the course. “Not sure about the noise it makes…” were the comments throughout the front nine. On the 10th, a 450yard par 5, my friends decided to have a go on the Big Snake. Each of them managed to drive a minimum 30 yards further with the Cobra than with their own drivers. “I love the noise it makes….” were the comments throughout the back nine. Let the Big Snake eat…. Cobra King Cobra M Speed LD driver. New for 2007. Tuned to maximise distance for moderate ball speed golfers who have a tendency to hit a fade or slice, the Cobra LD M-Speed is capable of opening up a new world. The driver promotes extra-high launch and draw bias combined with a massively forgiving face, the largest on the market. King Cobra Speed LD drivers feature the maximum USGA and R&A allowable club head length and width. With a 5,000 inertia value, Speed LD drivers have among the highest MOI of any all-titanium driver. In addition, they feature the largest face in golf with a milled dual rhombus face insert for maximum accuracy and distance across the Hotter 9 Points. Cobra LD drivers also include the exclusive Speed Tuning technology which optimizes ball speeds for all player types. In order to optimise CG location, the club head dimensions were pushed to the very edge of USGA and R&A size regulations: This moves the centre of gravity lower and further back resulting in high MOI and a high, draw bias trajectory to promote longer, straighter drives. Adding deep dimples and increasing the slope of the crown from front to back allows the centre of gravity to move lower and further back for higher MOI and launch. The crown and skirt are manufactured to an ultra-thin 0.024 which also helps lower the centre of gravity and increase the MOI. At 4.75" x 2.4" the Cobra Speed LD's face is the largest face in golf. Combined with the patented Milled Dual-Rhombus design, the face generates higher ball speed across all 9 points on the clubface.
