Excellent service from Golfbidder, would not hesitate to use this site again. Ratings for the club were spot on (in fact I would suggest the club is better than the ratings). Only been out with the club on one occasion so far. Not an instant hit (never used a club with this size head before) although enough encouagement for me to persevere with the club. Next stop the driving range.

What more can I say then wow. Having used an old Dunlop Steel Shafted driver for the last couple of years this was like jumping from a Mini into a Porsche. As soon as it arrived I was off to the course and used it straight away. The look, the feel and the sound of this beauty just made my day. I was hitting a good 30-50 yards further than with my old driver. I now look forward to seeing my scores come down using this baby

Having spent a long time trying to decide what driver to upgrade to from my cheap (but good) Dunlop I went for the MX 560. This I felt would complement my Mizuno irons. I have only been playing golf seriously for about a year and have not yet obtained an official handicap. I spent an evening on the driving range to get my stance and swing right and then had three rounds at a links course in Cornwall over four days. The improvement in my driving has been dramatic. I think I was heading for this but the Mizuno was a real help. Only two poor drives in 54 goes. Many beautifully straight and all drives further than I have achieved in the past. It felt absolutely superb and gave me extra confidence. On the last round I achieved an equivalent of a 26 handicap which 3 weeks ago I would have never thought possible. Thanks to golfbidder for a good choice of drivers at a range of prices. The MIzuno 560 was worth every penny. Also arrived really quicky thanks to golbidders efficient service.

The Mizuno MX-560 lives up to its advertising hype. I was "fitted" at a Demo day and have had excellent results in terms of added distance and foregiveness. The ball flight is higher than I have been used to but the extra carry gets it out there !!

Mizuno MX560 driver. New for the 2008 season Mizuno have designed the MX560 driver to be ultimately forgiving and powerful for maximum distance off the tee no matter where shots are hit on the face. Mizuno's R&D team discovered that the geometry of previous square and geometrically influenced drivers sacrificed distance in their quest for maximum MOI (resistance to twisting). A study of geometry proved that an optimal design could both maximize up/down and toe/heel MOI without a reduction in ball speeds and driving distance. A CNC milled plasma welded CORTECH face delivering the maximum R&A / USGA allowable energy transfer enhances the MX-560 distance further still. The MX-560 also introduces a re-engineered a bulge and roll design to the face that the R&D team discovered was key in improving consistency from off centre strikes. A Power Bar construction, reminiscent of Mizuno's original T-ZOID design re-enforces the crown and provides a distinct alignment aid. To help generate maximum club head speed and carry distance Mizuno have installed an extremely light 55g shaft which is 1/2" longer than standard. The club face has also been milled to tight tolerances to expand the sweetspot area and make the club ultra forgiving on off centre hits. And finally the face angle of each loft has cleverly been tailored to the type of player who is likely to use the club, namely the lower lofts are square with higher lofts a fraction closed to help eliminate the slice most club golfers suffer from.
