Model Info 2007

Wilson Lh6 Hybrid. New for 2007. The Wilson Lh6 hybrid incorporates Wilson's breakthrough ETF (Energy Transfer Frame) technology and optimal internal weighting to add distance and higher launch angles - making the Lh6 much easier to hit than traditional long irons. ETF technology structurally reinforces the area just behind and around the clubhead face to optimize energy transfer back to the ball at impact. Because the crown, sole and skirt of most traditional utility clubs are very thin, energy is often lost on impact because they lack the structural strength to maximize the energy transfer most advantageously to the golfer. Through ETF, Wilson has developed a proprietary laser welding process adding a discrete and virtually weightless weld line that frames the face and captures energies previously lost in the clubhead. This added energy directed back through the face of ETF produces extra distance and results in an expanded, high COR or 'hot zone' area double the size of any club without ETF. This 'hot zone' produces longer and straighter off-centre hits.
