20 yards longer than my "Illegal" Burner 860, 5 yards straighter, easy to hit and looong when caught well, and long when you don't. Titeleist drivers are for 16 handicapers or less if you believe the fluff, but to be honest I now have 4 friends who have subsequently bought this driver (Hcaps 16, 18, 12 and 22) and they are all hitting the ball longer and straighter than previously. Great club, a bargain and supplied by a fantastic business. Thanks Golfbidder!

This club has totally surpassed anything i expected. Before i got this driver i couldn't drive. For years i have been searching for a driver i can hit. Infact for the last two years i have hit only three wood. Long, straight & a good looking club that inspires confidence. What else do i need to say? Only that the service from Golbidder is excellent.

Played two rounds with this gem and missed about three fairways and they were only by a couple of feet. Thought I'd try some extra loft on my driver and its definately going to pay off. It won't be the longest or the most forgiving out there but in term of looks, feel and ball flight it will be second to none.

This is a fine club, having a forgiving head (but not as forgiving as some), and an excellent shaft (the Graphite Design YS-6+). For me, the flex point does not give a high trajectory, so you might want to go for the higher lofts to get the carry (if that's what you want). The grip (Titleist full chord) is too hard and thin for me, but this can be easily changed. When hit out of the sweet spot, the ball fairly zings away, with an excellent solid sound, unlike so many modern drivers. Few drivers can match this for distance, and the 400cc head not only looks good, but also allows more workability than the 460cc monsters. All in all, this model represents excellent value for money. Try one!

An excellent club, when struck perfectly the ball just flies. For the new golfer such as myself, it has been a true joy to play with, and no doubt has aided my play

I purchased this driver in an auction last week, it was recommended in Mays edition of Golf Monthly and it goes very well indeed. At first the size of head is slightly offputting, however you soon get used to it and it goes so well you soon get to love it. Thank you Golfbidder for your very efficient and courteous service. I recently got a 905T (10.5 degrees, Aldila 65 R shaft), partly because I’ve been so impressed with my Titleist 904 fairways. Like its fairway cousins, the 905T is gorgeous looking club, and sets up so nicely behind the ball. The ball flight is penetrating, and if you hit it sweet the ball really goes. I hit it fairly solidly, but it isn’t the most forgiving stick I’ve ever hit. With dodgy rangy balls I can carry 230 yards, and with the lowish trajectory there’s lots of run. My natural out to in swing is compensated for a little by the closed face, which may cause problems if you tend to draw or hook. The noise of the ball off the face really reassuring – it’s solid sounding, not too hollow like a lot of 400+ titanium drivers. I’m not a fan of the standard Titleist grips – they’re too hard, so I swapped for a more tacky, softer Tour Velvet, which really helps me not grip too tightly. Head cover is a bit garish, but that’s cosmetic. Overall I like it a lot. Well balanced, smart and top notch build quality.

Model Info 2007

Titleist 905T Driver. Titleist has developed an unmatched heritage of product performance and success across every level of competitive golf. The new Pro Titanium 905T and 905S models are built upon a successful heritage of technology, engineering, and craftsmanship, and feature new material and design technology to meet and exceed the requirements of the serious golfer for looks, feel and ball flight. The new Titleist 905 drivers feature an innovative multi material design including a CNC milled, high grade, structural aluminum hosel tube, precise cast titanium body, and a thin, high-strength beta titanium face insert. This construction allows for unproductive mass to be removed from the hosel area and strategically relocated into internal weight pads, creating a more optimal centre of gravity. The plasma welded beta titanium face insert is supported by a thin outer face flange, and produces higher ball speed and the maximum allowable Coefficient of Restitution. The cleaner plasma weld process eliminates weld material in the face to create a more efficient overall weight distribution. In order to provide all serious golfers with a driver that fits their game, the 905 line consists of two distinct models, the 905T and 905S. The Titleist 905T features a larger front-to-back profile size for increased dynamic loft at impact and a slightly higher launch angle than the Titleist 905S. The Titleist 905S features a deep face design for reduced spin versus the Titleist 905T. The larger 400cc head sizes of both the 905T and the 905S offer outstanding playability and their highly accepted true pear profiles are designed to meet the visual requirements of tour professionals and competitive golfers. Week in and week out Titleist drivers are among the most played on the U.S. PGA Tour and PGA European tours. Ernie Els relied upon the new Pro Titanium 905T driver in his consecutive victories at the Dubai Desert Classic and Qatar Masters.
