Played 3 rounds in competition with the Red X centre shafted putter. Much easier to line up square to the target, amazing feel off the soft milled face and puts an excellent roll on the ball off the face. Overall an excellent putter than i can see improving my game no end! nice one indeed.

This putter has a great feel and a lovely weight which really gives you a feeling of effortlesness throught the whole motion of the putt. I almost feels like the clunface is soft!! It has turned my short game around and i have gone from consistently 3 putting and even 4 putting to not three putting (or worse!) once in the last two rounds i have played! Thanks golf bidder and thanks Scotty cameron!!!

It's a great putter, lovely weight and feel. The lines behind the club face and the dots behind the shaft give you two way's of making sure the club face is square. Brilliant!

Model Info 2005

Scotty Cameron Red X2. What separates the Red X and the Red X2 is the shaft configuration. The Red X2 has a straight, no offset shaft that is positioned just back of centre. Players on Tour were asking for a traditional mallet so Scotty listened to what they were looking for and got to work and came up with two different designs for the “cabriolet.” He started with the shape, which he wanted to keep simple, and experimented with different metals to achieve the sound and feel that complements the design. The result is a stainless steel body with a premium precision milled German stainless steel (GSS) insert on both the Red X and Red X2. The insert has an elastomer border, which helps achieve the proper sound. The Red X2 also features three red dots behind the shaft to get into the proper position at address. When the dots are hidden by the shaft it means the shaft is at 90 dgrees and the putter can perform properly with 4 degrees of loft. Scotty thinks the Red X models produce some of the best sound of all of his designs.
