| I have used these clubs now once on the driving range, and twice on the course. My previous clubs were Fazer Mediators which I have had for 15 years and I have found that the Macgregors are quite simply astounding. Distance and accuracy has improved, although it did take me a few holes to adjust, the feel and 'getting through the ball'
is unbelievable by comparison. For the price they are very good clubs
Let me also comment on dealing with GolfBidder because I cannot praise them enough for delivery, next day, and living up to what they claim. |

| The MacGregor M565 fitted with the Rifle Flighted 4.5 shaft really is a breathtaking bargain. Pure golf magic! And what a super price too. Do not be put off by the look of this steel shaft because at a first glance it looks like a snooker cue. Just swing the club and let the shaft do its magic - and be amazed! Whatever Precision Rifle have done to produce this shaft is simply amazing and fitted with the easy to hit forged M565 head you have an unbeatable combination - you have simply got to try these clubs out. I can now, really for the first time ever, confidently expect to reach the green in regulation shots. Even if you don't buy 'em, try 'em. They are so so good and really too good to miss at these present modest prices. Being forged heads, they can very easily be adjusted by your club pro to suit your body size/swing profile. |

| Haven't played for 10 years, used to be 18 handicapper. Pulled out my old cheap set of Petrons (remember them) and everyone laughed but I still did ok, gross parring 5 holes. Tried my friends Taylor made driver which felt alien but boy did it work - how easy was that to hit! I then tried warious irons from my chums, and whilst it took a lot of getting used to in terms of visuals, these new fangled clubs were so forgiving and huge sweet spots. So off I went borrowing as many irons as I could and settled on the M565's. What do I like about them - distance and forgiveness. Unbelieveable distance if you explode and strike it perfectly - on the 18th, I drove 260 yds into light rough with a nice lie. I then took a "safe" 7 iron to get me back onto the fairway and the moment I hit it I thought "sweet strike!". My friend and I couldn't believe it when the ball landed 190 yards later and then rolled 10 yards to the edge of the green.
In short, if you want a mid-sized head that quickly gets the ball into the air, is pretty forgiving, buy these clubs. As the golf pros say, let the club do the work, and these M565's really do. For the price the are a fabulous deal and you'll only find rave reviews on google about them. |
