After just one round,I'm delighted to be further up the fairway than ever before. This is due to the accuracy of the club, which produces a low flight and consequently a good deal of run upon landing if you hit the fairway.I've hit 2 balls down half a dozen fairways and found both balls each time within a few yards of each other.Very consistent performance ! The "Model Info" points out this club is well suited to mid to low handicaps.I would agree and I love its accuracy.

Great club great feel great flight very solid hit way out in front as far as I am concerned

I have used Titleist clubs for a number of years now and was looking for a driver to match the performance of the other clubs. I can see why many of the professionals remain with the 905R, it has added both length and accuracy to my game. I am looking forward to my next medal round.

As usual product was excellent. Tee this up and DRIVE it and you will be very happy. Swing like a big girl and it is unforgiving. 2 bad swings cost me 2 holes, when I decided to just stand up and hit it the club is awesome, long, great flight (maybe a touch high but...) and forgiving. Just swing through it and you wont be disappointed.

Switched from a 975J 8.5 w/ Grafalloy ProLite stiff after breaking the shaft. I find the 905R performs similarly, with a higher trajectory (not only due to the added loft), and the increased club head size really allows you to go for it. The best thing about the club is the feeling on center hits. Positively unreal. Addictive.

Great club as expected. Very similar to 983K it replaces but with maximum size 460cc head. I didn't expect any extra distance but i suspect i may have an extra 10 yards.

The Titleist 905R is formidable. The state again outperformed the information and expectations. Already tested in the drive range and liked very much. My professor told me that golf is the best club I have in the bag and the best club in the quality / price ratio. I trust fully in the Golfbidder that are fast and the delivery of much assurance as to the evaluation of the material they have for sale. I am a fan of Golfbidder Luciano

Absolutely first class driver, as expected from a manufacturer such as Titleist. Long distance and very tolerant of less than perfect strikes. I used a 905T with a similar specification previously, so I was not expecting any issues, but this club delivers even better performance than I anticipated. I don't think I will change this club for a very long time.

Wow, what a club. If you're thinking of getting a new driver look no further. No need for the D2 or D1 which are overpriced, or any other make. The size of the head is large which I thought would put me off but it gives you great confidence at address. If you hit the ball out the middle it goes an absolute mile. Outdrove my old Tmade Burner easily. Can't see me hitting another legal club any better. Vanity wise it looks the nuts, the shaft, head and cover. Your opponent will feel intimidated, all you need to do now is hit it down the middle, which with even a slight miss hit, is going to happen.

I had to get a new driver as my old Callaway ERC+ was no longer legal from next year. I play off 8 and settled on the 905R as I had read some good reviews and wanted a quality club at an affordable price. I ordered the club on the Tuesday, got it the next day and played my first round with it on the Saturday competition. Unbelieveable! I hit every fairway even in a strong wind and was getting more distance plus great accuracy. I won the Saturday comp and a Christmas turkey as the prize! Cant wait for next week and the week after - love it!

I have only just bought my Titliest driver having used one on a golf trip to Scottsdale Arizona where i hired clubs to play the Stadium course. I used the Titliest 975D and loved it and decided next time i bought a driver it would be a Titliest. Well through Golf Bidder i finally did just that, i bought the Titliest 905R Driver and in the 3 rounds ive used it in so far i have been very impressed with it, i have always been a long hitter and the trouble with that is sometimes you tend to give up a bit of accuracy for that distance, but not with my 905R i haven't lost any distance but the accuracy is superb, being in the fairway on any hole is paramount and now i'm doing it time and again i'm sure my handicap will drop with club.

Bought a Titleist 905R driver to replace my Ping G5 after having good results woth the Titleist 5 wood fitted with Aldila NV shaft. Has given me at least another 20 yards, but more importantly seems much easier to square the face and my "power fade" has virtually disappeared. Would suggest to try with the various shafts to determine best for your style. I now only use the Aldila NV shaft on woods and driver and have benefited from consistency of feel and flex.

An awesome club...simply the bestdriver I have owned. The shaft is excellent and the club head looks perfect behind the ball. The large head is forgiving and I have added 20 to 30 yards distance and the feel when hitting is perfect. Even when the club has not been hit "perfect" I am achieving a minimum of 250 yards distance. The best investment I have made to my bag in ages.

Nice club with lots of possibilities

toby3putts H.Cap 5 (Posted 04.07.07 )

I must admit i could not get on with the pear shape at address, i hav been using Taylor Mades for years and just fancied a change. I have passed this on to a mate off 3, he hits it better than any other driver he has owned, just goes to show, try a load of different makes and models, you should find something that works for you, what works for one will not work for all. Overall a great club.

After owning a Titleist 983K Driver I decided to upgrade to the 905R model. I was a little concerned with the difference in head size but boy was my first impression proved wrong. This driver is superb. When you hit the ball out of the middle the feeling is exceptional. Tee the ball high and just watch it explode off the club face. Thanks golfbidder and thank you Titleist!

surreyscot H.Cap 3 (Posted 11.06.07 )

I've heard so much about this model and after reciveing it last week I was not dissapointed with the results. I'm averaging approx 20/25yds more, but consistantly hitting the fairways, it gives me so much more confidence off the tee.

alibijoe H.Cap 4 (Posted 04.07.06 )

I've been looking for a replacement for my hot 975J-VS for a couple of months with no great success - till I tried the 905R. Long, very forgiving and straight with a nice trajectory as long as you hit through the ball rather than at it. And there were 3 available on GolfBidder when I bought last week - now there are none, which suggests that they're in demand. . . .

Model Info 2007

Titleist Pro Titanium 905R. As used by Zach Johnson to win the 2007 Masters at Augusa National - the Pro Titanium 905R is a 460cc driver, the maximum allowable head size for players seeking the ultimate combination of ball speed launch angle, spin and forgiveness. With Titleist's distinctive pear-shaped profile, and shallow face set naturally square to address it instils confidence from the first swing. The new driver joins the 400cc 905S in Titleist's Pro Titanium driver family. The 460cc head offers greater forgiveness and a sweet spot 35% larger than its smaller companion. A slightly altered weight distribution provides the 905R with a deep centre of gravity and a little more spin than the 905T. Compared to the 905S, the Titleist Pro Titanium 905R offers higher spin and a slightly higher launch angle. Whereas the 905S is tailored for higher ball speed, high spin players actively seeking lower launch and spin.
