I cannot believe how much just a simple purchase of some quality irons has improved my game. I'm now hitting the ball sweetly, accurately and easily. These irons are VERY forgiving, just relax and watch the ball fly from bad lies, off the tee, or on the fairway. I'm really pleased with them!

brilliant irons improved my game as soon as i played with them which was about 30 minutes after they got deliverd great service from golf bidder.

i have not been on the course with the clubs yet but have been impressed when using them down the driving range, they seem to give me a bit more distance and feel more comfortable through my swing. i am very pleased with golf bidder, a very quick service, a great way for a beginner like myself to get playing with a good make of clubs and at a good price to. thanks

Clubs were in very good condition, probably better than described. Easy to hit and with the graphite shafts, lightweight; very forgiving, and hit the ball longer than my normal Mizuno blades. Bought them as a bit of an experiment, am seriously considering putting them in my bag as my usual playing set

I received my left handed Callaway X-12 iron set last week and immediately set off for the golf course. I have been playing for years but have used the same clubs that I started with when I was about ten years old some forty years ago! Some of my clubs were ladies clubs and as I am 6 foot 2 inches tall these were certainly not optimal. In early August I bought a brand new set of Clubs called Confidence Z fromm a U.K. based web shop. On the first day I used them the head of the 7 iron came flying off and on the second day the head of the 9 iron flew about thirty yards through the air. The company refused to refund my money or replace the clubs but said that I could have then re - glued and then send them the bill. I had lost confidence in my "confidence" clubs and will never use them again. A golf pro told me to try Golfbidder and suggested that the Callaway X -12 would be a good set for me. How right he was, my game has improved ten fold, the clubs are just right for me and I am now hitting the ball further and straighter. I wish I had heard of Golfbidder before, it would have saved me a lot of money!

after recently buying these clubs from golfbidder i am very pleased as they require minimum effort to produce a sweet blow and are very forgiving. I would strongly reccomend them. and great service too!

Excellent clubs - these are the first full set I bought after starting the game about 18 months ago with a half starter set. I immediately noticed that these gave me more confidence at address and have certainly improved my short game. The graphite shaft seems to gove me more distance than the equivalent steel shafted irons I was using and means I can concentrate on my swing rather than try and power my shots.

These clubs have completely changed my game. I have gone from having a left to right fade, to a right to left draw. This gives more distance and control. I have recently purchased another set from Golfbidder for a friend who has seen the difference they have made to my game. He has had them for just over a week and is delighted with them. I recently had my second hole in 1 in a club medal using my pitching wedge at the 120 yard par 3 at Aberfeldy Golf Club. Just looking down at the club fills you with confidence, you feel that you can,t fail to hit a good shot. Best set of clubs I,ve ever bought.

very good set of clubs and will definatly help me lower my handicapp

Having switched from steel shafted irons to this graphite shafted set, the difference is amazing. I have been able to slow down my swing speed without losing any distance and gaining trajectories which give soft landings. A joy to use after only 3 weeks. Things can only get better.

i wanted to hate these clubs, i really did. i used to go on to my golf mates about the callaway clubs they were using, telling them they listened to the hype surrounding the brand and wanted respect in the clubhouse rather than playing with clubs that really suited them, but one day i tried them for a round and wow...! the X12's are the perfect clubs for me, they inspire confidence at address, easey to use and give huge distances on the course. they also give better feedback than the X16's which is why i preffered the X12's. i bought a used set of X12's for a fantanstic price and ditched my previously cherished ping G2 irons. Maybe i was hypocritical and wanted ping irons? Now i don't!

Callaway should have shut down their R&D department after they produced these, because there was no way to make any improvements. What a perfect balance between game improvement and feel. I heard Monty never wanted to change his set, when he was with Callaway, and who can blame him? Wagner said there was no point composing any more symphonies after he heard Beethoven's Ninth. It was impossible to write anything better. Well Callaway X-12 irons are the golfing equivalent of Beethoven's Ninth. Classic perfection.

Callaway Big Bertha X-12. Callaway Big Bertha X-12s were the natural progression from the original ground-braking Big Berthas. The low centre of gravity in these Callaway Big Bertha X-12 irons help to get the ball airborne more easily with the proper trajectory and spin from almost any lie. The unique channel running around the inside of the cavity allows Callaway's designers to create a thinner top profile - and optimise the weighting for each individual iron. Callaway Big Bertha X-12s feature a low centre of gravity to help get the ball airborne - and a deep cavity, with plenty of weight around the outside to help straighten off-centre shots. They are just a bit prettier than the originals; less angular, a little smoother to ensure less drag out of the rough - and a more forgiving hitting area.
