the 7 wood of this model is outstanding you dont need no rescues this is all youll ever need off the t long p 3s in the rough from the f/way it delivers big time stops on a dime what a go too club can move it any which way the perfect club still nothing can surpass this baby an whats more its cheep as chips why wasteloads of cash on inferior newer stuff buy one and practice every move ball position etc This beats any of the newer cally stuff an any other manufacture trust me ive tried em.

I have tried to get this model for many years but couldnt find one. Golfbidder were the answer and I got the club in time for my golf on Saturday. I used the club without even having a practice shot and it was excellent, both long and straight. Probably the best 3 wood ever produced

This club was beyond its years. I had it a couple years back when i was playing seriously, took a couple years off and my handicap dropped a bit but this is still the perfect 5 wood. It can be hit from the rough or the fairway and still fantastic off the tee. Even if this is kept in your bag for those days when you dont want anything out of the ordinary this club will go straight and long. Fantastic

Very easy to hit off the fairway and light rough. The 'old' design sole has a lot going for it if your course has'nt fairways like the Brabazon and are a bit fluffy. This club still has a lot to offer the mid handicapper who wants to reach the par fives in two.

Having had my clubs stolen, and although I was being measured up for a newset,I was anxious to get hold of an original Callaway Heaven 7. I purchased through Golfbidder and was delighted with both the speed and efficiency of the service. Needless to say the club works O.K. Thank you Golfbidder Philip Pinnegar

I have been brousing for a while for this club as i allready have the matching driver. I was glad to get it as there seems to be relatively few changing hands unlike drivers the technology of 3 woods hasnt changed massively over the last 10 years. Alot of people who bought this club back in the mid to early ninties have held on to them and it is easy to see why! The club series (warbird) were years ahead of any of its rivals such as the Lynx BOOM BOOM or Taylor Made Burner Bubble which probabily only feature in Bargin Baskets now. The Callaway warbirds were the talking point clubs back years ago and are the range that made the Callaway Company a major player, A nice club to have in 20 years time when im sure they will be collectors items! Happy Golfing.

Great club, easy to hit off the deck and tee, good distance too. Received in perfect condition, better than described.

Club as described but significant abrasion to shaft at collar height of bag suggesting little use by previous owner of a tadpole style head cover. First impressions are that the club performs well.

This nine wood is a revelation for me. I can't believe how well I am able to get the ball 'up and over'. This club is just what I needed. I am a high handicapper and would recommend this club to anyone.

Just as you would ecpect from such a famous named club. Pure class off the fairway or the tee. This club will give me so many more options.

I've had a full set of war birds; driver (11 degree), 3 & 5 woods for about 5 years now and love them to death. I have tried some new oversize +++ drivers but still love my old clubs. I bought them second hand and other than re-gripping I would recommend the RCH99 shaft over the 96 as it seems to have a more even flex down the club shaft. These are now old school woods but they are very forgiving and great for beginners on a budget (especially forgiving the high lofted drivers 11+ are so easy to hit). Since i have had mine my dad and best friend have got hold of a war bird driver each. On the down side: -not as long as newer woods (but more expensive) -smallish head size -old In all these are great clubs if you can get them cheap the 3wood is great they all make the distinctive callaway ping off the tee and are generally easy to hit. Not for the pro but great for the beginner or improver on budget........ good luck

Model Info 1997

Callaway Big Bertha Warbird. The Callaway Big Bertha Warbird. A legend! One of Callaway's best selling models ever. Features an internal weighting system which pushes mass to the outside of the club making it very forgiving on off-centre shots and giving it a low, penetrating trajectory. Callaway's unique sculpted War Bird soleplate makes for smoother hits from the fairway. Still performs well.
