Got this club to compliment the 19 and 22 degree DH6 hybrids I already own. Can struggle a little with the shallow 16* loft to get the ball airborn in comparison to the other lofts, which are excellent. As a result the 19 degree (which really is between a 2 and 3 iron)tends to go further more consistently. The V2 shafts are excellent and I suspect it won't be long before I get the 25 degree. By the way - good service from golfbidder in both my purchase and crediting my account quickly for a club I sold.

I wanted to upgrade my current tired utility club and I've just tried this club at my local golf shop in their computer range and out of 5 top branded clubs I tried, this was the easiest to hit on all lies and had the most penetrating trajectory with height and length, great to look at too.

Model Info 2006

Wilson Dh6 Hybrid. New for 2006. As used by Padraig Harrington. Long iron sufferers - help has arrived! Energy Transfer Frame (ETF) technology structurally reinforces the area just behind and around the club face to optimize energy transfer back to the ball at impact. Because the crown, sole and skirt of most traditional utility clubs are very thin, energy is often lost on impact because they lack the structural strength to maximize the energy transfer most advantageously to the golfer. Through ETF, Wilson has developed a proprietary laser welding process adding a discrete and virtually weightless weld line that frames the face and captures energies previously lost in the head. This added energy directed back through the face of ETF, produces extra distance and results in an expanded, high COR or 'hot zone' area double the size of any club without ETF. This 'hot zone' produces longer and straighter off-centre hits. An internal weight in the back sole makes for a lower centre of gravity that helps to get the ball airborne and produces maximum distance. Wide, rounded sole makes it easy to hit, even from the most difficult of lies.
