| First i would just like to say what a great service golfbidder offer.
The irons are very nice and easy to hit from 3 iron to pw. Distance good and these irons are straight to. The pinching wegde is very good around the greens and has good feel. This review is after 1 round of golf with these irons i think that when i use these irons more i will enjoy playing with them even more.
Many thanks golfbidder for great service.

| I had been looking to get a set of RAC OS clubs with stiff shafts in the £200 bracket when I spotted this full set (3 - SW) of HT irons. While I was surprised that these clubs, advertised as suiting the higher handicap player, had stiff shafts, I decided that at around £150 it was too much of a bargain. I have not been disappointed. They have a great sweet spot and I invariably strike the ball cleanly getting distances of just over 200yds with the 3 iron, 150yds with the 7 iron and 100yds with the SW. The weight of the heads do lend themselves to a draw but they are not that forgiving that you can't get some degree of a fade or draw if you want. Great clubs for a beginner but also surprisingly good for a more experienced player. |

| Ive only played once since having them, marvelous balance, great at address, and I have to re,define my distance as these clubs are at least one if not two club lengths longer on most shots. Years ago I played to Seven Handicap using blades. But now at sixty two these clubs will re,vamp my game.
So lookout Guys I'm Back. |

| I sent a review on the 16.09.07, but it didn't tell the readers much has I hadn't managed to get out to test the clubs due to a bad back and weather conditions. I am pleased to now say that I have had several rounds with the RAC HT's. I have managed to attain the distances I was hoping for, well I've improved to such an extent it took some time for me to believe the distance I was getting i.e, 167yards par 3 and the ball dropped on the green with an 9 iron albeit from a high tee thus allowing for more ball flight time, but no effert needed just a gentle follow through [ I have improved by approximately a 2 club lengths with my shorter irons like 6,7,8,9 and p/wedge, my 3 iron to my 5 have improved by approx 1 club length once again without any extra effort, to tell the truth I say less effort alround. I really just had to get used to the allignment of the club face, and simply follow through thus letting the club do the work. I very pleased with the clubs, bought in a golfbidder aution for a bargain basement price of £117.00 quite fantasic when I believe the clube were originally retailing @ £599.00 less than 2 years ago. Delivery arrived when expected, plus well packaged. So a big thanks for the opportunity to obtain the RAC HT's at such a great price. A; 3 iron - s/w, 9 golf clubs in great condition for such a low price.A.McVey. |

| I have to rent a 4 wheel buggy so that I am able to get a round of golf in i.e, 18 holes.I received the clubs on monday 10th Sept and I am only a member during the week (monday to friday). I really have only had 5 working days to try a test the clubs out. Due to poor weather and the fact that the course is built into the land scape which is the side of the Pentlands, I have only managed to get one game in so far out of the 5 midweek days. I won't get much use of the clubs until about March 08 as the underground condititions make the use of a buggy too dangerous over the winter season. I think the clubs are in very good condition; although they were only rated as good for Head, Shaft and Grip condition. I was very pleased as I would concider the TaylorMade RAC 07 -HT's to be worthy of an excellent rating. During the 18 hole round, I found that I was constantly drawing my irons shots to the left, this was even when I was using the shorter irons like 8 to my pitching wedge. I use a brace on my left leg, but still have never had any problems with a left draw. I was informed by a pro-golfing friend that he assumed the reason I'm have this straight left draw, is probably due to the TaylorMade RAC [Standard] HT's being, 1 or 2 degrees upright - thus making the club head roll over on contact as the heel seems to be grounding, during the follow through. As I have said preveiously the actual clubs are in first class condition. I shall go the local driving range tomorrow to get the clubs checked out for lie. I will let Golfbidder the outcome, of the club testing for the head lie.
Sincerely, A.McVey |
