Had the 425 tp last season changed it to the superquad at the start of this season. Never got it going. Changed it to the FT-5 and aint looked back. Longer and straighter than the taylor mades by far

I don't understand the previous reviewer! This club has made all the difference to my game. I was custom fitted and must have tried, at least, 20 different clubs, shafts, lofts and, without exception, this was far and away THE best club I tried. It is 'hot' off the face and, most importantly, hits the ball straight. I wholeheartedly recommend this club.

Disappointed - exact same set up as my FT3 (draw bias), but just did not get on with it. Maybe it was the Fuji shaft not being as suited as the NVS for my swing, but I didn't get the same distance, nor consistency in terms of direction. Sound is better than the FT3, but to be honest, it wasn't worth the extra money upgrading, not for me anyway - the FT3 is still the one.

Model Info 2008

Callaway Big Bertha Fusion FT-5 Neutral Driver. New for 2007. As used by Phil Mickelson and numerous other Callaway staff players. The new Callaway FT-5 driver has maximised Fusion Technology in a traditional shape .Titanium and carbon composite combine to save a massive 50 grams of discretionary weight to correct or enhance your shape of golf shot. The larger, high velocity face and OptiFit choices of Draw, Neutral or Fade on the Callaway Big Bertha Fusion FT-5 Driver enable golfers to choose a powerful combination of accuracy and distance to get the best out of their individual game. The 25-gram weight located at the rear of the driver lowers the centre of gravity for optimal trajectory while Fusion technology provides exceptional stability on off-centre hits. The Carbon Composite Body is lighter than titanium and improves stability and distance while a modified version of proprietary VFT Technology in which face thicknesses are designed specifically to maximise performance under the new USGA characteristic time test, results in increased ball speed across all points of the face. The 460cc head has been manufactured with a longer, wider and hotter face for more confidence at address, a higher MOI and increased ball speed for longer, straighter drives. The Callaway Big Bertha Fusion FT-5 Driver is engineered to be the world's fastest driver. The FT-5 Tour Neutral Driver provides the optimal trajectory for those who already hit the ball straight and allows the better player to be able to work the ball whichever way they prefer i.e draw or fade.
