Got my FT-3 and it replaced my Taylormade R580 XD. First time i hit it i was addicted! so straight so long and so easy. Some say it makes a bad noise, ignore them it sounds great. So in conclusion it looks amazing, works fantastic and added 40 yards to my driving, which was long anyway. Dont think twice just get one. PS, get a neutral one and use your swing to fade or draw or it will mess up all your other clubs.

2nd purchase from Golfbidder, service excellent, dlivery 1st rate, clubs arrived in condidtion as per the online description. The club itself, great ball flight, easy to control, due to the stiff shaft, great distance and a much better sound than some that are on offer! Excellent addition to the bag.

Firstly I cant belive I bought this club for £90 on the auction system, it was rated 7 7 7 but apart from a slight mark on the back of the head it is as new. The club itself is fantastic. Long straight and forgiving. Forget all the new clubs and go fo a second hand one of these you wont be disappointed.

For Xtra distance this is the club, at least an Xtra 25-30 yards.

Got the club yesterday, as ever from Golfbidder 1 day after ordering!! Used today without any practice, duffed the first drive then promtly hit 3 on the trot that went 290yds+ with one that must have gone 320yds. Only problem is I've brought into play bunkers that in the past I would only have dreamed of reaching. Slightly stange sound but hey if it goes 300yds it can sound any way it likes!

I bought this club after having used ERC Fusion+ driver. I can honestly say that I have not regretted it. I bought the club with draw weighted head & have never hit the ball longer or straighter with a driver. I am now so confident with this club that I don't hesitate to use it even on tight fairways. Immediately after buying the club I felt really comfortable with it on first use & decided to go the whole hog buy a 3 & 5 wood to complete the BB Fusion set. All are excellent & I am glad that I chose these particular clubs. All clubs were bought from this site & the prompt delivery, condition & price of the clubs is to be commended.

The club makes an unusual sound when it strikes the ball, even if the contact is good or bad!!! It seems to go straighter than my old driver but the lenght is almost exactly the same.

Great club - I used it a few times before i bought one and it matches my eye perfectly and gives me more confidence on the tee. Once the weather improves and i can get out on the course my handicap can only improve. you must try this club

great club to hit. i used to hit a very heavy slice but now with the callawy ft-3 i hit straighter and 50 yards longer. its a great club for everyone

in my amateur career i always depended on a good quality driver and in the Fusion i have added 20yrds to my drives

dekgolf H.Cap 17 (Posted 12.07.06 )

After using the original fusion driver for a few years i decided it was time to upgrade. Noticed immediately that my ball stops in the air longer and it has added extra yardage to drives. The shaft complments the club. And the club feels like you do not have to swing fast to get a good respose from it. Recommend to anyone.

Having played golf for less than a year and not being the longest hitter I bought the FT-3 hoping it would help me gain distance off the tee and it really worked. I'm now hitting the ball 30 - 40 yards longer consistently and a lot straighter too - which is nice. excellent product, highly recommended.

Lazlo52 H.Cap 12 (Posted 03.05.06 )

Excellent driver and I have no hesitation in recommending it. My drives normally have a bid of fade, but this driver, being draw weighted, enables me to do straight drivers, something that is a novelty for me. I can fully recommend this driver.

I have recently purchased a FT3 from Golfbidder and have played my local course on a couple of occasions with it. I can honestly say I have never hit such distances, with such accuracy, that I have with this club. I truly believe, based on the distance I`ve gained, that par 5`s will be reachable in 2 in the summer months. A thought I could not have had with my previous driver. My playing partner, a 23 handicapper, even had a go with it and gained results that neither of us had seen him do before. Now he`s tempted to get one!! I must agree that the sound on impact is a bit weird, it sounds like a £20 driver, but the results are awesome! If you`re contemplating buying one, don`t delay.

I have had all the Callaway drivers and each one just gets better. The Fusion FT-3 has more forgiveness than the ERC Fusion, and as long as you can get past the strange sound on impact you will love it. I have always been a pretty straight-to-draw hitter and I just needed a bit bigger head than the ERC Fusion for extra forgiveness when I really wanted to go go for flat out swings. The FT-3 has done the business and I am loving it (but the sound on impact is weird and not Callaway-like).

Model Info 2007

Callaway Big Bertha Fusion FT-3 Neutral. As used by Phil Mickleson to win the 2006 Masters at Augusta National - and Michael Campbell to win the US Open. Winner of Golf World's Longest Driver Award August 2005. Callaway Fusion FT-3 Technology is the superior weight-shifting technology that uses multiple materials to move more weight where it provides the most benefit. This precisely placed discretionary weight allows golfers to select a weighting configuration that best suits their individual swings, resulting in unprcendented distance, accuracy and performance. The deep-face design and patented Variable Face Thickness (VFT) Technolgy create a larger effective hitting area and unsurpassed ball speed. Designed right up to the USGA Characteristic Time limit, the face gives you a maximum transfer of energy allowed in a driver for blistering ball velocity and distance. Critical to the Callaway Big Bertha Fusion FT-3 Driver was the creation of a unique carbon-composite body. In addition to offering superior strength and durability, it weighs considerably less than titanium. This allows Callaway Golf engineers to strategically position up to 44 grams of discretionary weight back into the body where you need it most - significantly increasing the clubhead's stability. Distance with accuracy is just the beginning for Fusion Technology. Since Callaway Golf engineers can precisely position the discretionary weight in optimal locations, you can select a weighting configuration to meet your specific swing needs. This means you don't need to adjust your swing to generate better results. The FT-3 Neutral Driver provides the optimal trajectory for those who already hit the ball straight and allows the better player to be able to work the ball whichever way they prefer i.e draw or fade.
