Having used to work in a golf shop, I have had the opportunity to try out pretty much all the drivers on the market, I got on well with Cobra and Callaway, but this old Ping model was always the most consistent, and the furthest by a way. The balance of the club is excellent, and it give you the confidence to strike the ball without fear of hooking or slicing

I've had my TiSi since they first came out a few years ago. It was the next big thing back then, and to be honest all these changes that have come about in the last 5 or so years since it's release, I'm still yet to find one that I get a better flight with. Make sure you get the correct flex and loft or you might not get the best results as that first bad review. I might be losing about 10 yards carry compared to the G2, but I'm getting a lower ball flight so I get more roll anyway.

I can't agree with the previous bad review of this club. The Ping TISI is not the greatest driver, but it's not a bad club either. It isn't especially long and it's squared-off head may feel a little clunky. But it's an extremely reliable club which puts a particularly straight flight on the ball. In fact it's main weakness is probably that it isn't so easy to draw or fade the ball much with this club. If you are happy to line it up down the middle and find the ball on the fairway, then you may not mind that too much! (But the 7 degree model has too little loft: go for 8.5 or 10.)

a terrible club had to change it in the first few days as my drives were way out. No control, distance. A waste of money. Spend elsewhere to improve you golf.

Ping TiSI driver. At 323 cc, the Ping TiSI driver was one of the longest clubs in the world at launch - evidenced by the number of players who chose the TiSI at the National Long Drive Championships year after year. Combining several unique, patented innovations in metal wood design, the TiSI helped golfers of all ability levels hit longer, straighter drives. The Parallel Top & Sole creates a rigid clubhead that transferred more energy to the ball than a conventionally-shaped driver, resulting in greater distance. The Variable-thickness Face, thinner around the perimeter with more mass behind the ball, creates a high Coefficient of Restitution (COR). The Elliptical Backweight located directly behind the impact area of the Ping TiSI creates a long "moment arm." This increases the inertia, or resistance to twisting, and helps keep the face square and the loft stable when the ball is mishit.
