Callaway FT-I Tour Neutral Driver. New for 2007. It's square - and it's here! Designed to be the world's straightest driver, the Callaway FT-i Tour uses patented Fusion Technology that moves weight away from the Centre of Gravity to produce a driver with increased horizontal and vertical stability that maximizes distance with total accuracy. This Tour version of the FT-i features a face which sits open by 0.5 degrees allowing lower handicappers to work the ball more easily. 460cc titanium drivers have made great improvements in stability and MOI. However, the weight of titanium virtually eliminates discretionary weight distribution, which is available in the FT-i driver. The carbon Composite body uses materials significantly lighter than titanium and creates discretionary mass that is distributed to the extreme perimeter, resulting in increased stability and longer, straighter bombs down the fairway. The design allows positioning of discretionary weight to the extreme corners of the clubhead, raising the MOI for unparalleled resistance to twisting both horizontally and vertically, providing forgiveness on shots hit all over the face. The Callaway FT-I driver represents a quantum leap in driver design.
The FT-i Tour Neutral Driver provides the optimal trajectory for those who already hit the ball straight and allows the better player to be able to work the ball whichever way they prefer i.e draw or fade.
